The artifact of sacrifice is one of the 14 artifacts in the game Risk of Rain Returns, and it is necessary if you want your enemies to drop their items after you kill them. How to Unlock the Artifact of Sacrifice
The Artifact of Sacrifice is on the southern part of the map in Magma Barracks. Magma Barracks is one of the areas that are possible for level 4. If you are in the right area, you’ll see the buttons behind thin walls, and a challenge awaits you.
Because the Artifact of Sacrifice doesn’t sit in the corner waiting for you to come and get it. You must activate three buttons inside of thin walls. Your character must have an ability to pierce through the walls to activate the buttons.
Although sixteen characters in the game contain one secret, only two are accessible at the beginning of the game. But you don’t need to worry. Huntress’s Cluster Bomb ability can do the trick.
Other characters, such as the Bandit’s Dynamite ability, the Miner’s Alternative Pick Axe Throw, and the Pilot’s Target Acquired, can also do the task with their abilities.

Artifact of Sacrifice Button Locations
In the 4th chapter of the game, Magma Barracks is one possible variation you encounter. On the upper side of the Magma Barracks, there are two of the three switches you must activate to unlock the Artifact of Sacrifice.
The first switch is in the upper right of the map. After locating it, do not hesitate to attack. The switch will turn red after being activated.
The second switch on the map’s upside is on the left. Be careful, because you need to jump on top of lavas and climb ropes to get there.
The last switch is a little harder to reach. You must be quick, since you must hit it while falling from the left side of four pillars. Be careful!
After you activate all three switches, the Artifact of Sacrifice will be unlocked.
