Risk of Rain Returns: Where to Find the Bloated Survivor

Enough time has passed since Risk of Rain Returns’ release for the community to discover pretty much everything there is to discover, ranging from item unlocks to secret characters. One of those discoveries is the Bloated Survivor.

In this article, we’ll show you where to find the Bloated Survivor and what you’ll get for finding it.

Where to Find the Bloated Survivor

You’ll first need to get to Hive Cluster, a potential Fourth Stage in Risk of Rain Returns. Then, all you need to do is a bit of exploring around the right side of the map, specifically the lower parts. Keep in mind that you can only find it on variants 2 and 3 of the map.

It is a good time to tell you that the Bloated Survivor is not an actual survivor, but a corpse of one. You’ll find the corpse next to a wall, like in the image below. Once you get in range of it, you’ll have the option to interact with it.

Doing so will give you a challenge completion and will give you the unlock for the Dead Man’s Foot item.

This is a green item that drops poisons when you take damage, making it a good choice for melee characters like Miner or Acrid in particular due to his already stacking poison abilities.
