Building Outposts is a mechanic in Starfield that allows you to gather resources passively from planets and moons, as well as serving as a place to send your recruited characters. Since there are so many systems, planets and moons to choose from, it can be overwhelming to decide where to build your outpost on. Best Outpost Location For Iron & Aluminum
While they can be found common separately, a location that you can gather both at the same time is rare. However, there is one place that is easy enough to find and settle even at the earlier stages of the game.
First, you need to go to Narion System. You will find Planet Sumati within the System. The first moon of Sumati is Andraphon; where you will build your outpost on.
It is recommended to build your outpost where the resources are overlapping, so you can gather both at the same time. Take your time to explore the moon as its landmark changes per playthrough. You should easily find a location where you can farm iron and aluminum at the same time.
NOTE: You can also find Helium-3 in Andraphon, which is essential to maintain your outposts. If you can, try to build your outpost on a place where it overlaps with iron and aluminum.
