Since the times of Oblivion, Bethesda games have given the players a chance to get their player housing in their games. From the many settlements in Fallout 4 to iconic houses like Breezehome in Skyrim. In Starfield, it’s no different as you can find different places to have your place in the galaxy. One of those places is the Penthouse in Neon City, a pretty sleek looking home!
In this guide, we’ll show you how to get the Neon City Penthouse in the game. Now, get your cash ready because this one is a bit pricey!
How To Get Neon Penthouse
There are a lot of places you can buy in Starfield to call your home. You can even make your own homes in your ships or outposts. If you want to buy the Penthouse in Neon City, you better be ready to pay a premium!
Here are the steps we’ll be taking to get the Neon Penthouse:
- Go to the Volii System.
- Go land on Volii Alpha in Neon City.
- Head to the Astral Lounge.
- Talk to the Bartender and buy the Penthouse.
- Head over to your newly acquired Penthouse and decorate it!

Detailed Walkthrough
First off, we’ll need to go to the Volii system. This system can be found southeast of the Alpha Centauri system. You can use the image below as a reference for where it is. Once there, you’ll need to head to a specific planet.
That planet is the Volii Alpha planet. There, you can find Neon City. Go fast travel to the Neon City Core, so that we can head towards that Penthouse!
Once you’re in Neon City Core, go to the right and follow the path forward. You’ll find the Astral Lounge shown in the image below. Go up the stairs and talk to the bartender in the area.
The bartender’s name is Boone Morgan and you can select the first option in his dialogue tree to ask about the Penthouse. He’ll tell you that you can buy the Penthouse for 235,000 credits. Once you buy the Penthouse, he’ll tell you to go to the elevator to get to your new home.
To get to the elevator, retrace your steps back, going down and out of Astran Lounge. Once you’re down the stairs, go to the left and left again to get to the elevator.
Once you’re in the elevator, use the panel inside to select “Sky Suite.” This will send you to the Penthouse that you just bought! Now, all you need to do is decorate the place and make it as stylish or comfy as possible!
