Sun Haven: How To Get To Withergate

Unlocking new areas in video games can be exciting, especially when you didn’t expect to see a whole new zip code when you get out of a dark cave. We all know that feeling of getting to Limgrave in Elden Ring seeing how big it is and then realizing that it’s not even half the entire map of the game! In Sun Haven, a farm life simulation RPG, you can unlock a couple of new places in the game and in this guide, we’ll show you how to get to Withergate. Get your walking shoes or your best mount since there’s a lot of ground to cover!

How To Get To Withergate In Sun Haven

So, where is Withergate and what is it all about? Withergate is the main hub of the demon race. You’ll need to unlock a way to get to Withergate in the game and you can’t just go straight to it once you start a new game.

To get to Withergate, you’ll need to proceed through the main quest, at one point you’ll need to feed a Snaccoon to the north of the Train Station where you start the game. The Snaccoon needs about 10 wheat and 10 potatoes. Once the Snaccoon’s eternal hunger is temporarily satiated, you’ll need to go north.

Next, you’ll need to progress through Catherine’s questline, where you’ll learn more about the barrier and assist her in trying to dispel it. If Catherine’s storyline isn’t accessible after removing the Snaccoon, start by interacting with Roza. Follow her quest until you’re tasked with delivering Tomato Juice to Liam and Bread to Claude.

Continue through the path until you reach the foggy area of the forest. You know you’re there when there’s…well…fog, and a bunch of dead-looking tree shadows.

This is actually a maze that you need to go through and you won’t be able to see the walls. So to get through the maze you’ll need to “feel” your way through it.

Once you’re out of the fog maze you can then go to the boat and straight to Withergate!

Congratulations you now know where to find Withergate in Sun Haven, the fog maze can be quite annoying since it’s hard to see your character sometimes.

To proceed, you’ll encounter a rock blocking the river. To pass through, you’ll need to defeat the Heatviper and complete “The King’s Lost Pet” quest.

To do this, head to the nearby catapult and choose either of the following plans:

Linus’ Plan: Bring 50 Sandstone Fish to one of the guards.
Rastus’ Plan: Bring 250 Sandstone Ore to one of the guards.

Both Sandstone Fish and Sandstone Ore can be easily gathered at the quarry on your farm. Take the boat back, which will leave you on the southwest side of your farm. After collecting the required items, return to the guards, load the catapult, and take down the Heatviper.

Once the Heatviper is defeated, return to the boat, which will take you directly to Withergate. Follow the main path to the city, and when you are kicked out, go through the Sewers until you meet Donovan. Be prepared to fight your way through the Sewers.
