We’ve been taking saving video games for granted, nowadays most games let you save anywhere and there’s even cloud storage so you can load and save games from anywhere. Back then video games were a bit more strict with saving, like having only designated checkpoints or worse, limited save slots or consumable save items. The thought of the latter makes me shudder, as a person that quick-saves every 3 seconds that is.
Sun Haven is a game that doesn’t really prompt you to save so how do you really save in the game? Let’s find out how saving works in Sun Haven.
How To Save Game In Sun Haven
If you play some of the other farm life simulators out there, it usually saves the game by sleeping and waking up the next day. So when you load up the game again you’ll usually start on a brand new day, like in Harvest Moon or Stardew Valley.
In Sun Haven it’s a bit different, you see the game saves all the time.
That means if you close the game at a certain time, when you jump back in you’ll be at that same time of the day, but usually, you’ll be back at your farm.
So if you’re worried about the game not saving if you want to leave the game in the middle of the day, you can see the game automatically saves on exit.
Still, make sure you close the game by actually exiting and not ALT-F4 or through the task manager just in case!
Congratulations you now know how saving the game works in Sun Haven, it’s a bit more forgiving than other farm life sim games out there but it can be a bit buggy as well so keep that in mind. Now go out there and enjoy the game without any fear of not saving!
