Finding a forever home for yourself in the zombie apocalypse can be tough. You could always just build one in the middle of nowhere and live all your life as a forest hermit but that might be too much work for some. Besides, why make a base when the housing market has been at an all-time low since the apocalypse! We’ll show you the best base locations in March Ridge.

Project Zomboid Base Building Guide | The Best Base Locations In March Ridge

Most Project Zomboid players probably don’t know where March Ridge even is. It’s a nice small town to the southern western part of the map and I can’t blame players for not knowing the place. While it’s not a spawn point unless you have mods, it doesn’t really have much in terms of anything special. It’s a small town with things the other towns already have. Probably the only reason you’ll go here is if you exhaust the rest of the map.

What March Ridge offers that other towns lack is the town’s lack of really good defensible bases. Unlike other towns, March Ridge doesn’t have any big gated houses that are covered with tall walls. The best you can get are these half-covered houses on the eastern side of town.

These are probably the best residential buildings to make a base with in this town. Since the corner houses in these places are already protected on two sides by tall wooden fences, you’ll just have to wall the other two sides to create a safe zone. It’s not as big as one of those mansion houses in terms of area but it’ll do in a pinch.

Another great place to make a base is the Cinema. The Cinema has easy access to its roof and if you like making roof bases then this is the perfect place for you. Just mind the ledges because there are no fences or walls to stop you from falling down. Make some walls or fences around, break the staircase down and make a rope ladder and you’ll have yourself a neat rooftop base.

That pretty much sums up the notable bases in this town. There is also the School and Community Center but you’ll have to deal with the number of zombies there which isn’t worth it for some people. If you really needed to make a base in this town then these are the bases for you, now go out there and start building!
