There’s a new DLC for Vampire Survivors and it’s one that adds a lot more content into the game. This small indie game is a gift that keeps on giving! No one would have thought that one of the best indie games to blow up in the past year would be this one. Still, it’s a great game and it deserves all the recognition it gets. The game is simply too addicting!
With the new update, Tides of the Foscari, it adds new maps and even new characters to play with. In this guide we’ll show you how to unlock all the new characters in the game! So get pick your best character and let’s get started!
How to Unlock The New Characters in Tides of the Foscari
In Vampire Survors one of the ways you know you’re progressing is when you unlock new characters. It’s also great since you get to experiment with new ways to play the game. Some of these characters need certain things to be done to unlock them as well adding more of a challenge. So, here’s how you unlock all the new characters in the DLC.
Eleanor and Sammy
To start off go pick your best character that you know and go to the new map which is Lake Foscari. Then go straight north until you hit a wall of trees. Then head west and north until you find a dirt path. Follow the path along the river until you see a bridge, cross it and follow the path north.
You’ll go to a new area with mushrooms, continue heading north until you see a mushroom village. In the middle of the village is a coffin, clear the enemies and open the coffin. This will unlock the new character, Eleanor Uziron.
Now go to the east and out of the town across a small bridge. Continue east until you see another bridge and cross it following the path south. Stick to the trees and find a corner till you see the entrance to an area shown above.
Go there and kill the caterpillars in the area. Once you kill 6,000 Caterpillars the new character Sammy will be unlocked! You don’t need to kill all 6,000 in one run.
Maruto
To unlock Maruto you’ll need to play as Eleanor. This character gets Spellstream at level 10 and Spellstrike at Level 20. Keep leveling up until you reach max level on all of the spell items so you can get the Spellstrom from a chest. Obtaining this will unlock Maruto.
Keitha
To unlock Keitha you’ll need to use Maruto and turn his main weapon into Legionnairs. This can be done by maxing his main weapon and having max armor as well, then opening a chest to get the Legionnairs. This will then unlock Keitha for you to buy with gold!
