WWE 2K23 is finally upon us and all that waiting time has resulted in a lot of very irritating crashes on launch. If you are one of the unfortunate ones to be experiencing them, you have come to the right place. In this guide, we will give you a list of all the things that you can do in order to fix your black screens, random fatal crashes, unending loading screens, and more. Let’s get started.
Fix Black Screen, Fatal Crash, Infinite Loading & More | PC – WWE 2k23
Update GPU Driver
The biggest solution to all of your problems might be coming because of the outdated GPU driver you might be having. The freezing issues and getting stuck on loading screens are mainly because the game cannot load on its textures because of the GPU.
Open up your Graphics settings app and just look for the latest version of it. There might be one coming out in a couple of days that will be entirely made for WWE 2K23 which hopefully will fix a lot of crashes.
You need to hit the Look For Newer Version and then let the app find it for you. Once it’s found, hit the Download and Update button and you can try starting the game.
Another way of finding this option is to go directly through your Device Manager and find it under the Display adapters.
Clear Cache
Open up your Steam and then navigate to the Settings of it by going to the top left corner of your Steam Menu and hitting Settings.
Once here, you are going to navigate toward the Downloads tab and then just hit the Clear Cache on the right side of the window.
This is going to take a while so keep that in mind. Once it finishes, we recommend that you not only restart Steam but also your PC.
Repair WWE 2K23
If the game is taking an infinite amount of time to load, a simple Repair of the game files will hopefully solve this problem. To do this, go into your Steam Game Library and then open the Properties from WWe 2K23.
Then once here, you are going to navigate to the Local Files tab on the left, and just hit the Verify Integrity of Game Files. It will also take a while but it will surely help out in the long run.
Clean Boot
Press WIN + R to open up the Run menu. While here you are going to need to write this: msconfig
Now go to the Services tab and click the box next to Hide All Microsoft Services on the left. Then you need to click on Disable All on the right side of the window.
Delete The User Profile Data
If your progress does not have a cloud backup, you can delete the User Data from Documents to be able to solve a couple of the issues you might be having.
Keep in mind that it will delete your in-game progress too. Simply go inside your Documents folder and then delete the WWE 2K23 folder.
We hope that this guide has helped you fix all the issues of WWE 2K23. Have fun playing the game!
