You can use your imagination to think of some beasts and enemies that you might be facing within Xenoblade Chronicles 3. Most of them will come true because there is a whole plethora of them! In this guide we will be helping you beat the first big enemy you’ll encounter in the game – the Drifter Ropl. Let’s get started.

How To Beat Drifter Ropl – Xenoblade Chronicles 3

He is not really a boss, but he is the first big beast that you’ll come across pretty early on in the game. He is kind of tough, to begin with especially if you are a newcomer to the franchise, but have no fear for it is Item Level here to the rescue!

Make sure to equip Black Mask because it will give you a 60% Damage Boost on Noah. This can be a substantial amount of damage difference that you’ll be able to do to him.

Make sure that all of your characters are level 8 before you take him on. You can do this by simply making grinding some of the lighter and easier characters before you get to him. There will be plenty of small NPCs all over the place and considering that you’re here already, you will most likely need just a couple of minutes of farming more.

The Fight

First of all, get in the fight with a Sword Strike on the Side of the beast. This will help you and your teammates to get the big much needed Topple. When the enemy will be dazed, this will be your opportunity to do as much damage as you can.

Use the Edge Thrust to be able to build up your Overclock Buster and then you’ll be able to use that when it will be dazed to do the most amount of damage possible.

Keep repeating this process until you see the health of your enemy going down lower and lower. You will also use all the skills and arts that you have to be helping with this battle. Just focus on the Topple as much as possible. Keep on using them and the first big beast will be on your killed list. Congratulations!
