What’s more fun than trying out different characters in Xenoblade Chronicles 3. Each of them are so unique and will make it look like you’re playing a different game if you try all of them out. In this guide, we will be showing you the easiest way of getting the Hero Gray. This is what you will have to do.

How to Get Hero Gray – Xenoblade Chronicles 3

To unlock this amazing hero you will need to proceed with the main story line and get to Chapter 3. Here you will also unlock the Wall Climbing skill which you’ll actually need for unlocking this new character. If you’re unsure of how you can do this, you can check out our guide for Wall Climbing Tutorial.

Once that is all done, you will need to make yourself all the way to the Aetia Region in exactly this position here. To get there you will need to get past the Climbable Wall as you can see.

There will be tons of enemies around the question mark so be careful when walking in. You will find Gray in this location and you will actually need to battle him. Once you will do a significant amount of damage to him you will get interrupted by the Colony 23.

This will be a patrol of a couple of enemies that you will need to take down. They will go down like butter. Once this is finished you’ll want to follow the Mystery Man’s Trail that will just appear. This man is none other than Gray himself of course who just vanished without a trace when the Colony arrived.

You will have to Follow Footprints now. Even you’ll get a little in-game tutorial on how to do this. This is where you’ll have to end up if you’ve followed the footprints correctly.

Once you’ve come here you will find Gray again. Once you open a discussion with him yet another Colony 23 will be around you and this time you will battle them together with Gray. They will be fairly stronger than the last time so be wary.

Once you defeat this big Colony that will be attacking you, you will have unlocked a new playable character. Congratulations!
