You know what I miss about games with guns? Gun jam. I know, I know, gun jam is annoying when it happens. But there’s something cinematic about having your gun jam mid-firefight, so you take cover somewhere and work to unjam your gun. It’s one of the reasons why I think Far Cry 2 is a great game, because the realism of that game is off the charts to include gun jam.
Nowadays, guns in video games can shoot for so long without jamming, so it’s nice to see games like Zed Zone bring back this gameplay feature.
How To Unjam Gun – Zed Zone
When your gun jams, you don’t panic straight away. Stay calm and move somewhere safe and away from enemies.
Unjamming your gun is very simple. Same way when you reload your gun, press R to unjam the gun.
