“A Doll’s Last Rites” is one of the side missions in Ghostwire: Tokyo, and you can receive it from the Doll Owner. Completing this quest will get you x5,000 Meika and approx. 750 Spirits.

A Doll’s Last Rites Mission Guide | Ghostwire: Tokyo
- Talk with the Doll Owner
First, make sure to go to this exact location on the map, and you’ll find a Doll Owner (a blue ghost) standing on the stairs of the shrine.
He’ll then ask for your assistance and tell you that he was laying a doll to rest at the shrine, but it ran off, and he ended up in an accident in which he died. Apparently, the doll is cursed, and no matter what he tries, it always comes back.
- Use Spectral Vision
Next, you’ll need to search the area for any clues using your spectral vision. You’ll notice a blue orb next to Doll Owner, activate it, and a psychic trail that you need to follow will appear.
- Follow the Psychic Trail
Head left of the stairs and follow the psychic trail that doll left behind. Go through the opening in the wall, near a tree. The idea is to go from one blue orb to another until reaching the doll.
- Look for another way
Soon enough, you’ll find a first obstacle, and you won’t be able to pass through the gate.
- Parkour on the Roof
Go through the building right of that gate instead and head for the roof — it’s time for some good old parkour.
- Collect Meika
Jump down to collect some Meika, and you’ll find the next blue orb behind the feng-shui cat.
- Back to the Psychic Trail
From there, it’s relatively straightforward, follow the psychic trail until you reach the bus parked on the road.
On the left side of the bus, you’ll see a psychic trail going up the roof.
- Grapple and Reach the Top
Grapple the creature on the top to climb up, then climb the set of ladders. You’re almost there.
- Fight the Headless Gang
Once you reach the top, you’ll need to fight some weird Japanese schoolgirls. Did we mention they are headless?
Once you defeat them, keep following the ghost’s trail until you hear the doll calling for your help.
- Cleanse the Doll
Left of it, you’ll find a seal that you must use to cleanse the doll. Make sure to create a seal like this one.
After completing a cleansing ritual, a Woman in Doll will finally be free, and she’ll tell you the story of what happened between her and her brother (the ghost at the shrine).
All that’s left is to pick up a doll and return it to him, and you’ll be able to absorb the spirits!
