Nanites are one of the most important resources because they can help you purchase blueprints from traders. This resource is also essential for upgrading your starships and as a payment for information given by travelers.
As of the moment, there is a way you can collect Nanites fast but first, you need to find a pirate system. To do this, you need a Walker Brain and install a conflict scanner on your ship. Purchase the blueprint on the Iteration: Hyperion and install the conflict scanner.
Once you have the scanner, select a nearby system and click expand. Look for star systems that have a conflict status that says “Pirate-controlled”. Once you are in the system, go to Contraband Agent Eoalf and look for the Suspicious Packets of technology and weaponry that he is selling.
Purchase these packets and open them up. Go to a normal space station and talk to a technology merchant. Sell the suspicious modules that you get from the packets. According to the description, it sells normally for 55 clusters but if you hover over the item it can sell for 277 nanite clusters or more.
You can simply purchase as many suspicious packets and sell them this way. However, this exploit may be patched soon by the developers so get them while you can.
