It’s finally easter and Final Fantasy XIV added a few Easter-related quests for you to explore. One of the quests you can get is the Wayward Carbuncle quest. This guide will show you where you can find the Wayward Carbuncle.
Wayward Carbuncle Location – Final Fantasy XIV
Looking for the Wayward Carbuncle is one of the side missions you can accept in Final Fantasy XIV. To get the quest, talk to the Studium Researcher and he will ask you to find a missing Carbuncle with no arcanist for him.
He will give also give you the Guiding Crystal. The guiding crystal can help you find the missing Carbuncle. To find the Wayward Carbuncle, simply go to X:9.3 Y:37.1 Z:2.0 coordinates. There will be a rock here and the Carbuncle is behind the rock.
You can also find the Carbuncle as seen in the photo above. When you first encounter the Carbuncle, you will notice that you cannot pick it up. Select the Wayward Carbuncle and Soothe them. Afterwards, you can pick up the Carbuncle safely.
Go back to the Studium Researcher and deliver the Carbuncle to complete the quest.
