Since the new patch in April, Lost Ark has gotten some new changes that need covering information. Here I will cover all the Glaivier builds that can be used after the Balance Patch. Let’s get started.

Glaivier Lance Master Guide | Balance Patch Version – Lost Ark

This is a class that uses a huge spear as a weapon. It is a melee class that focuses a lot on mobility and speed. While being so efficient and quick around enemies it can deal extra attacks on their opponents from behind them. Keep moving a lot while playing the Glaivier and change between attack stances to get the most out of it.

Stances:

  • Sun
  • Moon

You can change between these two, or to maximize your performance, you can master how to play them both and keep switching in exact time periods for best damage output. Glaivier might be one of the hardest classes to play as.

  • Keep dodging, moving, and using your blue attacks to get energy
  • Watch your energy and time your red attacks when your energy bar is at its fullest
  • Make sure that you circle your enemies and attack them from behind

This is a stance-changing class. If you decide to level up the blue attacks – your attack damage will increase with the energy bar. When you have more energy and decide to change stances, it will make the overall damage that you deal much higher. On the other hand, if you decide to go forget about the Sun stance, then you’re gonna get a bonus on your Lance abilities.

The most important stats for a Glaivier:

  • Nimbleness – lower the cooldown of skills and get higher DPS
  • Specialization  – you can boost specific abilities
  • Critical Probability – increases the damage that you deal overall

You will deal very high damage with a very fast attack speed. You can swap between various weapons and is very mobile. At the same time, this class is difficult sometimes because you rely on your positioning a lot. Very hard to master and takes time to learn and it does not exceed expectations in PvP or PvE situations.

Single Stance Build

This is a focus that is concentrated entirely on kills and high DPS but is without ranged or defensive skills:

Double Stance Build

For starters, you shall always use the Captivating Blue Dragon skill for recharging your energy bar. Then switch to your Revival Ability or Frenzied Dragon Strike. Keep using the other attacks until the Energy for the Stance charge is full or until the cooldown of Captivating Blue Dragon is over.

Engravings

These are the class-specific ones:

  • Peak – massive Damage buff whenever you change your stance
  • Control – the Sun stance will be disabled, but your Moon stance will be boosted

Other types of good Engravings on your Glaivier Lance:

  • Grudge – additional damage to bosses or higher class mobs
  • Mass Increase – more attack power at cost of attack speed
  • Cursed doll – additional attack power
  • Daring Blunt Weapon – additional critical damage
  • Raid Leader – extra damage equal to attack speed
  • Master of Ambush – additional damage when attacking from behind(very important)

Revival Abilities

  • Storming Red Dragon – you thrust the spear in front of you damaging enemies and pulling them to you. Then you swing your spear and deal damage again while simultaneously pushing the enemy back
  • Spear Meteor – an attack on a target location. You jump back and throw your spear ahead which does explosive damage and can knock enemies back

I hope this helped a bit to understand this hard class. Good luck!
