Monster Hunter Sunbreak is upon us at last! It is bringing with it lots of new maps, monsters, as well as armor sets. In this guide, we will be talking about the Barbania Master Rank Armor and how to get it.

How To Get The Barbania MASTER RANK Armor Set – Monster Hunter Sunbreak

First of all, for starters, you will have to get to Master Rank 4 already in the new DLC (Sunbreak). Without doing this you won’t be able to start to do this guide and even get the armor set at the end. So make sure you’re ready for this.

Then after this is all done, you will need to locate and find the Argosy (the cat) at the beginning of the map. Once you talk to him, you will have noticed a new option that you’ll have which is the Backroom Deals.

One of these items, as you can see on the right under the backroom Deals, is going to be the Locked Treasure Chest. Once you’ll be walking with the letter of introduction, you’ll eventually get one Locked Treasure Chest.

Once you have at least one of them, you will need to go back to the Blacksmith. Here under the crafting armor section, you will actually have noticed that right now the Barbania armor will be craftable and available. That is how you unlock it.

Barbania MASTER RANK Armor Set Forging Materials – Monster Hunter Sunbreak

  • Locked Treasure Chest – The first and most important item for later on that you’ll need to use for crafting and upgrading for the letters of introduction that you’ll use to unlock after MR 4.
  • Hemitaur Hardclaw – Pretty self-explanatory to be really honest. It can be obtained from a simple search and destroy monster hunt or breaking up random parts
  • Monster Slogbone – You should already have a bunch of these in your inventory if you are already past and after Master Rank 3. You can get this in a very easy manner every now and then for finishing any Master Rank 3 quests
  • Dragon Bone Artifact – Can get these from the big bone piles in pretty much all of the regions in the DLC. My recommendation is to go to the Citadel where you’ll be able to find the biggest number of them
  • Giant Monster Bone – This is something that you’ll need for the Barbania Vest. This can be obtained also in the bone piles mentioned before (in the various different regions, the same Citadel is valid as before).

  • Massive Monster Bone – This is something that you’ll need for the Barbania Gloves this time. Exactly the same thing is going to be said for this one too. The bone piles from the different regions are where you’ll find it
  • Twisted Stiffbone – For the Barbania Belt. You can get this from the bone piles in the Shrine Ruins
  • Overgrown Stiffbone – For the Barbania Boots. You can get these ones from the bone piles in the Jungle

Congratulations on getting all of the Barbania armor! Full credit goes to GamerGuru. You can check out his YouTube channel here.

He learns about the backstories, about the development, the creators, fan theories and boy oh boy he's open for discussions about what makes a game great and what doesn't. He can play everything from small Indie games , to big triple A titles. His theory about games is this : small details make big games. So that is why whatever it is that he is playing, he is the guy who discovers 99% of the maps with every little side quest or trophy to be found. That is why his favourite genre is RPG. Having the big explorable created world at your fingertips, where everything from a scary bloodsucking demon to a friendly talking goat can be found and interacted with, as well as immersing yourself into the roleplay game you are playing, is fascinating for him.
