If the name Moebius K seems familiar to you (no, not Morbius), then you may know him as Consul K. Familiar? That’s because Moebius K is Consul K’s second phase as a boss fight, and he is extra pissed. If you’ve come here after finishing the Consul K fight with our guide, then I assume you’ll be happy in seeing a Moebius K guide, because this guy is no joke. Better get ready, because this boss fight is going to push you to your limits. But with our help, you will be able to take this guy on with no problem.
Moebius K Boss Fight Guide – Xenoblade Chronicles 3
If you’ve read our Consul K boss fight guide, then you know what you need. In the off chance you haven’t, then you will need three healers. Two Medic Gunners being Mia and Eunie, and one Tactician being Taion.
Once you have those three, you will need to have Noah as a Zephyr, Lanz as a Swordsman, and Sena as a Heavy Guard. The reason for this is because Noah being a Zephyr will be able to take more damage and dodge attacks as the fight goes on. Lanz being a Swordsman will bring in the break, topple, daze combo, which is pretty important too.
With that settled, the next thing to do is fighting Moebius K, which is pretty similar to Consul K’s boss fight. All you have to do is get behind Moebius K and use whatever you have on him. Arts, Interlink, Chain Attack, normal attacks. Your healers will deal with who has low health, and even if one of your party members get knocked out, then you’ll have healers that will revive them.
You should also have the recommended gems and accessories equipped too. For gems, everyone should have Iron Clad II equipped to increase everyone’s HP. Having this will increase the overall HP of the members of your party, and it makes taking damage less stressful.
For accessories, equip the party with accessories that boost HP and defense. You need this so that everyone can stay in the fight for as long as they can, as the healers will do their job in healing anyone with low HP.
With that out of the way, you should focus on the fight, which will take an extremely long time. This is because Moebius K’s health is stupidly long, and attacking him, even with Interlink, feels like you’re attacking a stone castle with pebbles.
You can also use Chain Attacks several times throughout the fight. Because he has a large amount of health, you can use Chain Attacks up to 3 times, 4 max. It depends on how much damage you’re dealing. During these, always go for the healing options.
If you’re able to get him to half health, Moebius K will go Moebin Time (there, I did a Morbius joke. Happy?) and he will hit twice as hard. When this happens, you need to start moving around in order to miss his attacks.
