There are some unspoken rules in life that all of us learn at one point. Don’t ask a lady their age and don’t ask anyone on how much they make on their jobs. These unspoken rules vary from culture to culture and sometimes these rules manifest in games as well. With MMOs it’s common to see a lot of people and interact with them. So, that’s why some unspoken rules are made. Like real life, this may vary from game to game and in this guide, we’ll show you the unspoken rules and etiquette in Lost Ark’s Party Finder.

Party Finder Etiquette Guide In Lost Ark

The Part Finder is a way for you to find parties consisting of random people who are playing the game. That means that there are some rules that players need to follow so that the party is successful and you don’t waste everybody’s time. That’s why it’s important to learn these unspoken rules so you don’t have to ask and bother your party.

The first rule is “Party Order x3 +1.” When you join a party, you’ll get a random position in the party, either 1, 2, 3 or 4. Once you get your position, multiply it by 3 and add 1, and that’s your party order.

Why is this important? Because some mechanics need certain party members to be in a specific location. That’s why people use the 12-hour clock format. Where each party member is assigned to 1 o’clock, 4 o’clock, 7 o’clock and 10 o’clock.

Now often times when you go to the party finder, you’ll see a combination of numbers and letters. These correspond to the specific items you’ll need for the raid.

For example, the first one on the above image says “x2 1f 2/3p 4c” and we’ll break it down one by one. X2 means that you’ll be doing the raid twice, usually for dailies. 1f means the first party member will bring flare, 2/3p means that the second and third party member will bring pheromones and the fourth party member brings corrosive which means 4c. Understanding these terms will make sure you that you don’t show up in a raid without the things you need.

Another term in Lost Ark is Bussing. That means that certain players will carry the other players through the raid. Usually, they do this for a price, and it’s on the lobby title. Why it’s called Bussing is because the player who’s doing this service is called the bus driver. And he’s going to carry the passengers which are the paying payers to get them through the raid easily.

Congratulations you now know the basic etiquette in Party Finder for Lost Ark. Now go out there and clear those raids, however, be mindful of your party members.
