Escape from Tarkov is a difficult game to learn, specially if you’ve never played extraction shooters before. You spawn into the map without knowing anything, carrying the best gear you can find and as you run around you get sniped by a guy carrying a Mosin that was made in World War 2. You need to learn a lot of things in Escape from Tarkov and learning the map is probably the most important part. In this guide we’ll show you what you need to know for the Lighthouse map in EFT so that you don’t go running around like a headless chicken.
Lighthouse Map Guide 2023 – Exits, Loot, Keys & Stashes In Escape From Tarkov
If you look at a map of the Lighthouse through a third party website or image, you should see that the map is long and thin. It goes from north to south and there’s a lot of places where you can get shot. This map isn’t the biggest one in Tarkov, but it is the most uniquely shaped one. Here are some of the points of interests you can find in this map.
Spawns Points
If you look at the image above there are markers there for the spawns. If you notice, most of the spawns are to the south of the map and there are no spawn points to the north. The north is where the good loot is and most geared players would want to go to that place to get the best loot.
Above is where the most of the PVP in the map happens. Players spawning on the south usually goes north to get the loot in the areas with buildings and the swampy town to the east. Players spawning on the beaches to the west can have some disadvantage due to them needing to cross the streets to get some of the loot, which is where you can easily get shot at.
When going north be careful of crossing the bridges as players love to camp those bridges and take shots at the ones crossing them. Go through them with caution and make sure no one’s aiming for your head.
Extraction Points
Above is where you can find all of the extracts in the map. Do note that the orange ones are for Scavs only. One of the most used extracts is the Mountain Pass because of how close it is to the loot areas. Path to Shoreline is a pretty open extract and another great area to go to after looting the loot heavy areas nearby.
The Northeastern Extract is a car extract so you’ll need money to extract there while the Armored Train extract usually opens up later in the run. Congratulations you now know most of the points of interest in the Lighthouse map in Escape from Tarkov, now go out there and good luck with your raid!
