Each of us has found ourselves in a situation where we have to play our game on our second or third monitors. This can be quite of a problem because when you open a game, it is always played on your main monitor. Here’s how to fix that.

Open A Game On Second Monitor Using Steam

The process is quite easy. First, open Steam. In the bottom bar with the applications on your screen, you will see the Steam icon, right-click on it and select the Big Picture Mode option.

Then go to Settings and then go to Display Options and click on Resolution.

Choose the highest quality resolution and in the Target Monitor option, you can choose which Steam monitor you want to use.

Then go and select a game and open it. Then, in the game settings, you can select the monitor on which you want to play the game.

Keep in mind not to run the game while using Big Picture Mode.

With this method, you should successfully transfer the game to the monitor on which you want to play it.

If for some reason this method does not work for you, right-click and select Display Settings.

Here, select the monitor on which you want to run applications and games and below you should see the option Do this to my main monitor”.

I hope this guide is successful for setting up your monitor.
