Sometimes quests can just get a bit confusing in video games. You may have missed the text on what to do next because you skipped the dialogue. Perhaps you left the game in the middle of a quest only to come back confused. Whatever the case may be, sometimes you just don’t know how to progress through a quest.
In Honkai Star Rail, there’s a quest that requires you to do a little bit of treasure hunting. In this guide we’ll show you how to do that quest so that you know what to do next! Now let’s see what treasures and rewards we find along the way!
Survival Instinct Treasure Map Guide
At one point in Honkai Star Rail, you might do the side quest called Hook’s Treasure. The side quest involves the Survival Instinct Treasure Map.
Here are the steps for this side quest:
- Use the Treasure Map in your Inventory;
- Go to the position shown on the map in the Great Mine and investigate;
- Go back to the quest giver and get the real Treasure map, use it in your inventory;
- Go to the position shown on the map and investigate;
- Claim the Precious Treasure!
First Treasure Map
So the first map you’ll get in the quest will show you where to go. If you’re not sure on where that position is you can use the image above for more details.
Once you’re in the area look at the wall to the south, in-between some tents is a barrel. You’ll also see a shiny thing you can interact, this is the thing the treasure map wants you to get. Go back to the quest giver to then get the real treasure map.
Real Treasure Map
Once you continue the quest you’ll get the real treasure map. The image above shows you where to look exactly, as you can see it’s close to the first one.
Once you’re on the area look for the shiny spot on the wall there. Once you’ve interacted with it a Precious Chest will spawn and the Treasure hunt will be complete!
