We are entering the third day of Honkai: Star Rail’s first in-game event, the Boulder Town Super League. Honkai didn’t pull any punches with their events and made them challenging enough, forcing us to make full use of the buffs and conditions of each round.
As usual, the rewards are 100 Stellar Jades, 20,000 Credits, 8 Traveler’s Guides, 6 Condensed Aethers, and 5 Lost Gold Fragments. Without further ado, here’s the guide to Boulder Town Super League event, Day 3.
Boulder Town Super League Day 3 Event
The requirement for the 3rd day is to finish the 2nd day, then talk to Dr. Dig to continue to the next category, Welterweight. If you are struggling with previous days challenges, here’s how you can win Boulder Town Super League Day 2 and Boulder Town Super League Day 1 matches.
It will still show you how they’re drawing for the next foes, but the enemies are fixed. Meaning you can check this guide to find out the right composition for your team for this round.
I ran Tingyun with Welt, Jing Yuan, and Yanging, all of whom had major Ultimate damage. Because, yes, today’s event is keeping your Ultimate up at all time. Hence why Tingyun is going to be useful in this comp because of her ulti that buffs and increases energy on an ally.
The day’s trial character is Serval who, arguably, has a great AoE electro damage. But it doesn’t pack as much punch as Jing Yuan’s ulti considering how I have dedicated Light Cone and relics for him already. But if you don’t have Jing Yuan, she’s definitely your go-to pick as alternative.
The first round consists of two waves of Silvermane Guards. I finished this battle in two rounds. The second round is the Inicineration Shadewalker. Unfortunately, I spent two rounds with him. And by round 4, I have 6 cumulative rounds.
So I only had two rounds left for the final bosses. It is absolutely doable because of the buffs.
If you check out the weaknesses of both enemies, you’ll realize that they’re both pretty different. This is the trick for the final round: you don’t want them to break at the same time. Break your enemies separately so you get two full-recharge on your characters’ ultimate.
The challenge with my lineup, however, is getting enough luck to make sure my Prana Extirpated’s turn come before the next round starts. At the end of spamming the entire team’s ulti, Prana will be at 10 stacks which is enough to decimate both bosses.
Additionally, the Frigid Prowler does spawn mobs that has Fire as their weakness. Those can easily count towards the buff. So there can be other playstyle you can go for, mainly using Hook, Asta, and Preservation MC.
