The hidden achievements in Honkai: Star Rail has been among the most fun to figure out. They often involve a series of secret missions or actions, like turning off all the bots in Herta Space Station. And there are some achievements that are character-specific, like the achievement we’ll tell you about.
This time, we’ll talk about the Over-protective hidden achievement.
Overprotective Hidden Achievement
You need a Gepard to do this achievement but if you don’t have the character, don’t worry – that’s why you have the support function! You can get a Gepard using the function and hop on a battle, preferably an easy one.
The Over-protective achievement description goes like this: Win 1 battle(s) without having Gepard’s Shields take any DMG.
Yes, it is exactly what it says. You want to use Gepard but essentially not let his shield take any damage. How exactly does that work because everyone uses a tank precisely to let the shield takes damage instead of the characters directly.
Who cares, you want that 10 Stellar Jades. Here’s how you can do it. Get a Gepard from the Support function if you don’t have him. Hop on a battle, preferably one easy enough for you to handle. I’d suggest bringing in just one DPS and an extra shielder/taunter just in case (because you can’t tank with Gepard, he’s just there).
No matter the battle, this is the situation you want to end up with. You want your enemy left with only one-shot HP and Gepard’s Ultimate fully charged. Before you kill it, use Gepard’s shield and then finish the guy.
It doesn’t matter if you have shield on from other characters. As long as the shield that Gepard’s cast doesn’t get hit, you’re fine.
And that’s how you can get this achievement!
