The Halloween update has made its way to Anime Champions Simulator. With it comes some new exciting content for the players to experience. Now, that includes the Spooky Island Candy mechanic, which is key to getting access to the event’s exclusive rewards, like the Spooky Portals. If you’re wondering how the candy drops for this event work, I’m here to help.

How Spooky Island Candy Drops Work

Now, the new Ghost Worlds system may seem like the it’s is bugged or nerfed, but that’s not the case. The way it operates is through a concept known as diminishing returns.

So, initially, when you start doing the Spooky World raids, you’ll earn a substantial amount of candy or kills. This can even reach hundreds of thousands or even millions, depending on your coin boost. However, as you continue to do these raids, you’ll notice that the rewards decrease over time.

For instance, on your first attempt on the raid, you can earn around 1.3 million candy. But in your second attempt, you can only get around 600-700k.

Now, you might wonder if this is a result of a nerf or bug, but it’s not. It’s a deliberate game design to prevent players from farming infinite candy.

The key to maximizing your candy rewards is to understand when your 24-hour cooldown resets. To figure this out, take note of when you did your first raid.

For example, if your first raid was available at 8 a.m. EST, you can calculate your 24-hour cooldown from there. Doing the raids right after the cooldown resets will yield the highest candy rewards.

For the initial raid in the 24-hour cooldown period, you want to make sure you have the highest possible coin multiplier because it offers the most substantial rewards. With the right team and drop rates, you can accumulate up to 2 million candy in as little as 30 minutes.

To put this into perspective, 2 million candy allows you to open 80 of the new Spooky Portals. So, remember, the diminishing returns system is not a punishment; it’s a game mechanic to maintain balance and fairness.
