Back then, you can easily stack more than just refrigerators in ARK. Well, before the patches came in and killed all the fun. That’s when the mods saved everyone the headache of using extra resources just to put two pieces of furniture on top of each other.

Now, it looks like the same thing is happening again in ARK: Survival Ascended. To make the guide short and sweet, yes, you can still stack refrigerators without the use of mods. Find out more by reading the guide below!

How To Stack Refrigerators

You’re going to need a stone beam if you want to be able to stack refrigerators in ARK: Survival Ascended. We’ll keep the project small and just use three refrigerators for each level. You can expand on this experiment once you get it to work on your own.

Start with placing the two stone beams on top of your refrigerators horizontally. At this point you won’t be able to snap a fridge on top. Place a ramp nearby that will put you on top of the refrigerators next.

Approach the refrigerator line you just made and disable snapping. Fiddle around with the positioning of your top compartment until it turns green.

You’re going to want to get it to stick to the pillar you placed behind for it to turn green. Do the same once you place the refrigerator in the middle.

That’s where the stacking gets mildly finicky due to the inadequate amount of space.

And that’s how you can stack refrigerators in ARK: Survival Ascended. Now, you don’t have to use a ceiling. Don’t forget to remove all the scaffolding you left behind when you’re done!

Here we have Alexis, he's been gaming ever since the second Famicom came out. Which is probably the reason why he goes back to platformers every now and then. Somewhere down the line he started getting more and more fascinated about looking at maps change colors for three to eight hours straight. If he's not out strategizing and beating the life out of his space bar in that order there's a good chance you can find him playing an FPS or talking someone's ear out about how game balance gets in the way of realism. You can tell that he really likes getting the full experience of whatever he gets his hands on.
