What Do Attributes Actually Do?
Health
Health is the first one of the nine attributes. As you can guess, it keeps you alive in the Ark Survival Ascended realm. Dropping your health below 30 % will result in an unpleasant outcome. An injury. And you want to avoid it falling to zero. What’s more unpleasant than injury? Death…
You don’t need to panic! Your health will regenerate in time, but you can also consume cooked meat, blood packs, or medical brew to restore health. And by adding a skill point, you can increase your maximum health by 10 points.
Oxygen
Another attribute that keeps you alive is Oxygen. In the game, the oxygen attribute mainly affects your underwater adventures by determining your underwater survival time. Depending on your preferences, you can add one skill point to extend this time by 20 points.
Food
Also, food is an attribute you depend on to not die. Your hunger will increase, and starving may not be a lovely idea.
Please pay attention to your stomach; it will also have a minimal effect on stamina recovery, health restoration, and cold resistance. Adding a skill point to it will increase the time between your meals.
Water
You must drink water sometimes. Your water level is decreasing! And if you move a lot and consume stamina, it also affects your water level. Investing skill points in water will allow you to survive longer without dehydrating.
Stamina
Stamina determines how much time you spend on actions. In other words, it is your energy bar. In Ark Survivor Ascended, stamina regeneration takes approximately 5 seconds.
But this can be really long during a heated gameplay. To move better without exhaustion, you can add skill point to your stamina. This will extend your stamina bar by 10 points.
Crafting
Do you want to craft items faster and with better quality? Invest your points in the crafting skill. Use your skill point to enlarge the crafting skill by 10 points. With crafting skill, you can craft weapons. And with better crafting skill and, you can make weapons with higher stats.
However, it will not affect external crafting stations. It is primarily necessary in late mid-game when better quality engrams can be found.
Weight
It can be too heavy to move if you don’t be careful about how much you carry. Investing one skill point in weight will add 10 to the weight stat. This will raise the number you have for your carrying capacity, and you will be able to move faster with heavier loads.
Fortitude
Fortitude measures resistance to adverse effects. It is dependent mainly on the map and your standard location. Its improvements in weather resistance and other areas can significantly help you in extreme conditions. But don’t worry if you spend your stats on something else. You can find armor and items with similar effects.
Melee Damage
Melee weapons are designed for close combat. And to use them efficiently, you must have good melee damage. Also, it impacts the amount of resources you need.
