Fighting bosses is a common theme in Atelier Ryza 3, luckily the game is lenient enough to let you know its strengths and weaknesses before it starts mowing you down.

It’s kind of amusing that this specific boss is resistant to fire though, you would think that it should’ve been the opposite, but that’s just how magic works.

So if dealing with the Elder Treant which still manages to confuse the stars out of you, check out the guide to see what you can do to come out on top!

Elder Treant Boss Guide – Atelier Ryza 3

Upgrading your weapons are a surefire way of making any boss fight easier, but of course, that’s not enough sometimes as your foes would always have a trick up their sleeve to catch you off guard at the worst possible time.

So it would be best to keep the Treant’s weakness to air in mind before heading into battle.

Playing with Ryza up to this point would mean that you already have Nimbus Storm, use that whenever it’s your turn to deal a truckload of damage to the boss.

Klaudia is a good pick for this fight as well due to her quick attacks along with Back Wind, and her Gail Blow order. Equip that on her and use it every time you get the chance.

Most of Treant’s attacks will hit all of your party members, or they will focus on one target and deal an extra amount of damage.

What you do have to be wary of is his Charge Thrust attack, there’s a chance that he’ll spam this on your party so the damage will eventually start to hurt the more he does it.

Everything else is just a matter of you breaking the boss to buy yourselves some time during the fight.

Oh and one more thing, bring out some Grass Beans to keep your party healed up. If you can, synthesize them as well so you won’t take too much poison from the boss.

Here we have Alexis, he's been gaming ever since the second Famicom came out. Which is probably the reason why he goes back to platformers every now and then. Somewhere down the line he started getting more and more fascinated about looking at maps change colors for three to eight hours straight. If he's not out strategizing and beating the life out of his space bar in that order there's a good chance you can find him playing an FPS or talking someone's ear out about how game balance gets in the way of realism. You can tell that he really likes getting the full experience of whatever he gets his hands on.
