Blade Ball is a fun Roblox game that is essentially Rocket League but with swords. What happens in the game is that you essentially hit a ball toward your opponent and hope that it hits them, which then kills them. But if they hit the ball back towards you, then it’s just a really dangerous game of Ping Pong.
The ball will keep getting faster and faster the more you deflect the ball back toward the player, so you will need to find a way to outsmart them. With the Shadow Step, you can definitely do that. In this guide, I will show you how you can use the Shadow Step in Blade Ball efficiently.

What this ability does is essentially turn you into a shadow and lets you move fast around the map. It’s an excellent ability to help move you around the map quicker, and even get some distance between you and the ball so you can hit it better.
But one thing that you might not know about Shadow Step is that you can use it offensively.
When you see a ball moving towards an enemy that is about to deflect it, you can ensure that the player that’s about to deflect the ball will get hit by it by Shadow Stepping in between the ball and the player. Then you can click the button to hit the ball and send it flying towards the enemy.
This will catch the enemy by surprise, which will then cause them to hit the attack button early and get hit by the ball.
Another way to use the Shadow Step offensively, is by using the Shadow Step when the ball is chasing you to get it towards the enemy.
How it works is that you need to be dueling with an enemy, and when the ball is coming back to you, use the Shadow Step to close the gap between you and your enemy. While doing so, make sure to keep clicking the attack button to hit the ball back towards the enemy.
Other than that, Shadow Step is a great defensive way to play the game. Not only can you use it offensively to attack people, but you can also use it to get away from people and cover more ground.
It has many uses in both offensive and defensive strategies, so make sure to experiment and see what works for you.
