With Update 20 of Blox Fruits, a bunch of new content was added, including a new sword and fighting style. Because of the patch’s new additions, you may be wondering what the current best weapons are for both PvP and PvE. With that said, here is a tier list of all the swords that you can acquire in Update 20.

Best Sword Tier List in Update 20

Before we get to the actual tiers, just keep in mind that this is a purely subjective list based on the opinions of the community.

Things may also change in the future when new swords are added or old ones are reworked, so this may become a bit outdated over time.

S+ Tier

These three swords in the top tier are considered to be equally powerful. They all deal a massive amount of damage and have good utility, especially in PvP encounters.

  • Cursed Dual Katana
  • Rengoku
  • Triple Dark Blade

S Tier

The weapons under this tier are also seen as powerful options, with each dealing a decent amount of damage at an acceptable range. Most of these swords also have great mobility and area of effect potential.

  • Dark Blade – Has very good damage and is pretty fast.
  • True Triple Katana – Recently buffed and has great mobility.
  • Dragon Trident – Recently reworked to be even better than before.
  • Buddy Sword – This one requires some good aim, otherwise it may not be as effective as you’d expect.
  • Canvader – Can be really good at PvP due to its ability to bait out dodges from your enemy.
  • Shisui – Can be really good, though it requires a lot of mastery and good aim to effectively use.
  • Spikey Trident – Can be good for any build, not just sword mains.
  • Tushita – Easy to use and has overall great stats.
  • Midnight Blade – Also got a significant rework that makes it much better than before.
  • Gravity Cane – Another sword that got a massive rework. It has since become pretty overpowered.
  • Saber – Has the highest damage potential out of every sword, but it has a lackluster stun.
  • Shark Anchor – Extremely strong for how easy it is to use.

A Tier

These swords can be pretty good, though they aren’t the best. Some of these also used to be worse, but recent reworks have bumped them up a notch.

  • Soul Cane – Has one of the best stuns in the game, making it great for any build.
  • Bisento – Recently buffed and now has a decent stun and damage.
  • Koko – Has a good range, though not quite on the level of the ones in the next tier.
  • Dark Dagger – Great for combos, though not ideal as a main damage dealer.
  • Saddi – Also recently buffed and can deal a decent amount of damage.
  • Yama – It has great potential, though its damage keeps it at a lower tier than it should probably be in.
  • Pole (2nd Form) – Used to be higher but was nerfed in this update.

B Tier

The swords under this tier are not necessarily bad, but they are completely outclassed by those in the higher tier and can easily be replaced if you ever get a better alternative.

  • Longsword
  • Wando
  • Twin Hooks
  • Hallow Scythe

C Tier

These swords are pretty bad at PvP, though if you’re stuck with them, you may as well make use of them until you can find a better one.

  • Pipe
  • Trident
  • Triple Katana
  • Jitte
  • Pole (1st Form)
  • Iron Mace
  • Shark Saw

D Tier

The swords under the lowest tier are completely unusable in PvP and should be avoided at all costs. They may still be used for grinding at lower levels, however.

  • Cutlass
  • Dual Katana
  • Katana
  • Dual Headed Blade
  • Warden’s Sword

And that concludes this tier list. This is mainly for sword mains who like to PvP though, so feel free to use whatever you want if you’re only focusing on leveling up against mobs!
