Clover Retribution: Official Boss Location & All Item Drops

Clover Retribution on Roblox offers players a variety of different bosses that you can defeat. These bosses can be found all over the extensive world inspired by the anime. Defeating these bosses is not only a challenge – but also offers some amazing item drops.

Want to know where you can find all the bosses in Clover Retribution? We’ll show you the locations for all of them – whether they be World or Raid Bosses. Additionally, we’ll also go through the item drops that you can get from them. Let’s dive in!

Official Boss Location & All Item Drops

There are a total of 15 Bosses that you can come across in Clover Retribution on Roblox. Here is how all of these bosses are distributed: 

• 9 World/Mini Bosses
• 2 Event Bosses
• 2 Raid Bosses
• 1 Dungeon Boss
• 1 Grimoire Gauntlet

Some of these bosses were added recently to the game as part of an update. It’s all laid out in our Medusa Update Guide.

We’ll show you where you can find all of them, their item drops and any other crucial information related to each of them in this guide.

World Bosses/Mini Bosses

Starting off, we’ll be looking at where you can find each of the standard World Bosses in Clover Retribution. There are a total of 9 bosses all across the map.

Alpha Wolf

First up, we have the Alpha Wolf boss in Clover Retribution. To fight this boss, you’ll first need to get the quest for it. You can do this by talking to a particular NPC in the Unnamed Village.

After you get the quest, progress through it and you’ll have to kill the Alpha Wolf eventually. You can find the Alpha Wolf boss in the Grasslands Forest.

Specifically, you’ll be able to find the boss near the large cliff that’s shaped like a skull with horns. You should be able to make it out from the distance when you enter the Grasslands Forest.

Defeating the Alpha Wolf Boss provides the following item drops in Clover Retribution:

• Alpha Wolf Scarf
  • +5 Con
• Wolf Fur
  • Used for Crafting
• Alpha Wolf Hammer
  • +7 Bludgeoning Damage
• Lupine Shadow Plate
  • 1% Chance since it only drops from Corrupted Alpha Wolf
• Wolf Slayer Title
  • 5% Chance to drop
  • +6% Damage against non-boss enemies
• Soul Fragment
• Soul of Wisdom

Ogre

Ogres are mini bosses that you can also find in the Grassland Forest area of Clover Retribution. It’s quite close to the Alpha Wolf boss.

You can also defeat the Ogre boss as part of a quest obtainable from Unnamed Village. But this quest is not necessary if you are only interested in item drops.

While facing the Wolf, head towards the right in the Grassland Forest. You’ll eventually come across the ogres at the border between the Grassland Forest and Clover Capital.

Defeating Ogres in Clover Retribution can give you the following item drops:

• Iron
• Old Adventurer’s Spear
  • +6 Piercing Damage
• Ogrebane Pike
  • +7 Piercing Damage
• Ogrebane Ironblade
  • +7 Slashing Damage
  • Only obtainable from Corrupted Ogres
• Ogre Bone
• Ogre Hide
• Greater Soul Fragment
• Soul of Valor.

Vennum

Vennum is a boss that you find South or Southeast of the Timeston Village in Clover Retribution. Make your way through the Grassland forest towards the south of the map.

Eventually, you’ll come across an open path close to Timeston. Vennum will be standing there.

You can get the following item drops by defeating Vennum in Clover Retribution:

• Azure Diamond Crest Ring
  • +2 Int
  • +Mana Reserves
• Greater Soul Fragment.

You can equip 3 of the same ring but can only buff from 1 of each of the different rings.

Yetti

The Yetti boss can be found in the Tundra area of Clover Retribution. You can enter the Tundra towards the Northwest of the Timeston Village.

Keep in mind that you won’t be able to use your Broom here to fly. So, when you enter the Tundra just keep walking straight ahead.

Eventually, you will be able to come across the Yetti boss.

Defeating the Yetti boss in Clover Retribution can give you the following item drops:

• Yetti Horn Spear
  • +11 Piercing Damage
• Yetti Horn Sword
  • +11 Slashing Damage
• Yetti Horn Hammer
  • +11 Bludgeoning Damage
• Yetti Horn Staff
  • +10 Magic Damage
• Yetti Fur
• Yetti Horn
• Soul of Valor.

Red

The Red boss, or the Fish as it’s also known, can be found in the Desert area of Clover Retribution. You can enter the Desert by going west from the Unnamed Village.

When you enter the Desert, make your way to the left or the Southeast. Here, you’ll be able to find the Oasis or water in the Desert. Red will usually spawn in this area.

Defeating the Red boss can give you the following item drops in Clover Retribution:

• Paradigm
  • +12 Slashing damage
  • +5 DEX
  • +5 CON
  • +Ignore 5% of ALL Defense
• Lesser Fire Resistance Amulet
  • +5 CON
  • +10% Fire Damage Resistance

Desert Claw

Desert Claws are giant minibosses that you can also find in the Desert area of Clover Retribution. Simply explore the Desert area and you’ll be able to find many of them here.

Here are the item drops that you can get from Desert Claws in Clover Retribution:

• Desertclaw Hoops
  • +5 DEX
• Desert Claw Sword
  • +10 Slashing damage
  • +5 DEX
  • +5 CON
• Desert Claw Spear
  • +11 Piercing damage
  • +12 CON
  • Can apply Poisoned effect on enemy
• Desert Claw Mage Staff
  • +13 Magic Damage
• Desert Claw Hammer
  • +14 Bludgeoning damage
  • +15 CON
  • +5 STR
• Desert Claw Armor
  • +18 CON
  • +10 DEX
  • +5% Piercing damage
  • +25% Defense against piercing damage
• Soul of Fortitude

Alpha Desert Claw

Alpha Desert Claws can also be found in the Desert area of Clover Retribution. They spawn in the same areas of Desert Claws but are rarer to find.

Alpha Desert Claws have a 7% chance to spawn instead of normal Desert Claw minibosses. They have a distinct all black color that will help you differentiate them.

These bosses also drop Alpha versions of the weapons that you can get from normal Desert Claws. They are similar but have slightly better stats.

Here is the breakdown of the item drops from the Alpha Desert Claw in Clover Retribution:

• Alpha Desert Claw Hammer
  • +15 Bludgeoning damage
  • +18 CON
  • +8 STR
• Alpha Desert Claw Spear
  • +12 Piercing damage
  • +15 CON
  • +65% chance to apply Poisoned effect
• Alpha Desert Claw Mage Staff
  • +15 Magic damage
  • +15% chance to apply Poisoned effect
• Alpha Desert Claw Sword
  • +12 Slashing damage
  • +8 DEX
  • +10 CON
  • +10% chance to apply Poisoned effect
• Alpha Desert Claw Armor
  • +25 CON
  • +15 DEX
  • +10% Piercing damage
  • +40% Defense against piercing damage.

Stone Guardian

The Stone Guardian can also be found in the Desert area. When you’re in the Desert, you’ll see canyons that are in the middle of the desert.

You’ll want to go deep inside this canyon and explore this area. You should be able to come across a Stone Guardian miniboss here.

Defeating the Stone Guardian miniboss can give you the following item drops:

• Stone Guardian Spear
  • +15 Piercing damage
  • +12 DEX
  • +5% Bleed
  • +8 DR Breach
• Stone Guardian Sword
  • +12 Slashing damage
  • +12 CON
• Stone Guardian Mage Staff
  • +15 Magic damage
  • +10 INT
  • +5 CON
• Greater Soul Fragment
• Soul of Fortitude

Apex ‘The one who left is all behind’

Apex is a boss that hunts you instead of you locating him in Clover Retribution. He will only hunt you if you fulfill certain requirements.

Here are the requirements to get Apex to hunt you:

• Level 250+
• Use Heavenly Restricted trait for 8 Hours and 20 Minutes.

With these requirements fulfilled, there is a 10% chance for a bounty to be placed on your head. After that, Apex will spawn near you in 10-20 minutes.

Make sure that you are not in a party. Otherwise, he will stop hunting you. Reportedly, you also need to gain Threat to fight him. You can do that by killing any of the world bosses like Alpha Wolf, Ogre and Vennum.

Defeating Apex can give you certain item drops that are related to certain conditions. Here are the conditions:

• Have either Divine Restriction or Heavenly Restricted Traits
• Have at least 80% Contribution to killing him (at least 50% for Apex Tokens).

With that said, here are the item drops you can get from defeating Apex in Clover Retribution:

• Divine Nullifier (2% Drop Chance)
  • +18 Slashing damage
  • +5 DEX
  • +5 STR
  • +8 CON
  • +10 DR Breach
  • +Special M2 able to cancel some spells
• The Forsaken One Title (2% Drop Chance)
  • +1000 Health
  • +75% Mana consumption
• Shroud of the Strongest (2% Drop Chance)
  • +35 STR
  • +35 DEX
  • +35 CON
  • -50 INT
  • +Tough IV Trait
  • +25% Bludgeoning damage reduction.
• Apex Token (35% Drop Chance)

Apex Tokens are very useful item drops as you can use them to purchase the other drops from the Apex boss NPC. You can find Apex in the Desert area.

Go into the canyon in the middle of the Desert. After that, go all the way to the end and enter the small cave. You will be able to find the NPC here in the corner.

Event Bosses

There are various random events that will occur when you are playing Clover Retribution. Some of these can be linked to a boss. Specifically, there are currently 2 Event Bosses in the game.

You’ll know an Event Boss has spawned by the notification in your chat at the bottom right corner. Event Bosses also help you get Runes, which you’ll need for a particular Raid Boss.

Terra The Bandit Lord

When you see the notification for Terra The Bandit Lord, he will spawn in only one location in Clover Retribution. You can find him at the Bandit Camp that is south of the Timeston Village.

He is quite close to the path where you can find Vennum.

Defeating Terra The Bandit Lord will give you a chest that contains 250 Gold, and one of the following item drops:

• Bandit Sovereign Leathers
  • +6 DEX
  • +10% Defense against slashing damage
• Rune of Shattered Earth
• Rune of Raging Tempest
• Rune of Colossal Wrath
• Rune of Endless Challenge
• Mana Crystal
• Greater Mana Crystal
• Supreme Mana Crystal.

Warlord of The Grass Lands

Another boss that can appear as part of an event is the Warlord of The Grass Lands. He will also appear in a particular spot, which is south of the Timeston Village.

He will appear a bit further on the same path where you can find the Vennum boss.

Defeating the Warlord of The Grass Lands can potentially give you a lot of items. Starting off, here are the item drops you can get from him directly after beating him in Clover Retribution:

• Warlord’s Crimson Plume
  • +2 CON
• Iron
• Copper
• Greater Soul Fragment

Additionally, defeating him can give you 2 common Chests. These chests contain 250 Gold, and one of the following item drops:

• Ogrehide Vanguard
  • +6 CON
  • +3 STR
  • +25% Bludgeoning damage reduction
• Rune of Shattered Earth
• Rune of Raging Tempest
• Rune of Colossal Wrath
• Rune of Endless Challenge
• Mana Crystal
• Greater Mana Crystal
• Supreme Mana Crystal.

Raid Bosses

Next up, we have 2 Raid Bosses that you can find in Clover Retribution. You will need to activate Raids at specific locations on the map.

Aetherstone Isle (Golem Boss)

The Aetherstone Isle Raid is activated as part of a multi step process in Clover Retribution. Starting off, you’ll need to find all the 4 Runes in game.

You can find these Runes by defeating any of the Event Bosses we mentioned in the previous section. Your goal will be to get all 4 of them.

Once you get a Rune, you’ll need to activate them. You can do so by finding the respective stone for each of these Runes on the map

Here are the approximate locations for each of the Rune Stones in Clover Retribution:

• Rune of Colossal Wrath
  • Near the wooden bridge in Grassland Forest
• Rune of Raging Tempest
  • On a cliff near the giant skull with horns
• Rune of Shattered Earth
  • In the left corner outside of the Clover Capital entrance
• Rune of Endless Challenge
  • Behind the Aetherstone Isle portal

After you activate all the Rune stones, the Aetherstone Isle portal will open. You can find this near the Grassland Forest as well, in the middle of the lake.

Enter through the portal and you’ll face off against the Golem.

Defeating the Golem Boss can give you a variety of item drops. Starting off, here are the drops you get from him directly:

• Aetherstone Soil
• The Mana Wielder Title
  • +15% Magic Mastery gain
  • +5% more mana after reaching the softcap
• Aetherblade (Only from Corrupted Golem Boss)
  • +10 Slashing damage
  • +5 CON
  • +8 DR Breach
  • +Custom M2 (each mode gives a different buff and an aura)

Additionally, the Golem Boss will drop 3 Chests. You can get 100 Gold from each chest or one of the following:

• Aetherstone Halberd
  • +10 Piercing damage
• Aetherstone Pauldrons
  • +20 CON
• Mana Crystal
• Greater Mana Crystal
• Supreme Mana Crystal.

Medusa, the Cursed Gorgon

Next, we have the Medusa Boss that you face off as part of a Raid. To activate the Raid, you’ll need to find the large doors that can be found near the Low Goblins spawn.

So, you’ll need to head through the long forest area near the Long Forgotten Tower. This area is East of the Timeston Village or the left side of the skull with long horns.

Go all the way to the end of this area and you’ll come across the large doors right at the end. Interact with the doors to activate the Medusa Raid.

You can get the following item drops from defeating this Raid in Clover Retribution:

• Gorgon Spear
  • +17 Piercing damage
  • +5 DEX
  • +12 DR Breach
  • +15% Bleed chance
• Gorgon Hammer
  • +17 Bludgeoning damage
  • +20 CON
  • +15 STR
• Gorgon Earrings
  • +15 DEX
  • +8 INT
• Gorgon Token
  • Used to buy Gorgon item drops from Orion NPC

Dungeon 1: Capital Siege

Now, we’ll be looking at the one and only Dungeon available in Clover Retribution at the moment. At the end of this Dungeon, you will face off against Slimezar the Unhinged Boss.

To activate this Dungeon, you’ll need to make your way to the Clover Capital. After that, head to the center of the Capital, where there is a giant Colosseum style building.

You’ll find an NPC by the name of Dungeon 1 Examiner near the entrance. Talk to him to activate the Dungeon.

Defeating Slimezar the Unhinged Boss at the end can give you the following item drops in Clover Retribution:

• Gelid Oozeblade
  • +12 Slashing damage
• Lab Coat
  • +16 INT

The normal enemies and minibosses in this dungeon can also give item drops. Here are the ones you can get from Zombified Clover Lieutenants:

• Cloverguard Lieutenant Pauldrons
• Cloverguard Lieutenant Helm
• Blighted Lieutenant’s Pauldron (from Corrupted Zombified Clover Lieutenant)

Additionally, you can get the following item drops from Zombified Clover Knights:

• Clover Knight’s Helm
• Clover Knight’s Pauldrons
• Clover Knight Spear.

Grimoire Gauntlet

Last, but not least, we have the Grimoire Gauntlet which is like a separate game mode in Clover Retribution. In this game mode, you’ll face off against endless waves of enemies.

The Grimoire Gauntlet can be accessed from a specific location. You’ll need to go to the Desert, and make your way to the Ruins section of the map in the corner.

Here, you’ll come across an NPC by the name of Lepho. Talk to him to activate the Grimoire Gauntlet. 

The exclusive item drops you can get from Chests during the Altar Wave in Clover Retribution from this mode are the following:

• Crimson Majesty
  • +25 INT
  • +Fire Resistance I
• Rocket Mage Staff
  • +16.5 Fire damage
  • +10 INT
  • +10 CON
• Founding Gentleman’s Coat
  • +76 CON
  • +3 INT
• Coat of the Revolutionary
  • +20 STR
  • +20 DEX
  • +15% Damage Reduction against all damage
  • Increases damage of Eagle’s Talon Weapon to 20
• Eagle’s Talon
  • +15 Slashing damage
  • +5 CON
  • +15 DEX
  • +Chance to apply Burn
• Devil’s Eye
• Devil’s Horn
• Soul Fragment
• Mana Crystal
• Greater Mana Crystal.
