Deep Rock Galactic: Survivor is a single-player survivor-like auto-shooter. This game lets you explore the Deep Rock Galactic Universe from a different perspective. Unlike the original game, this game lets you play as a solo player.
Every time when you start a game, your mission is to defeat the mighty Glyphid Dreadnought. You will be exploring many different caves with minerals and lots of monsters. Once you have met the quota, it’s time to return with the Drop Pod. But what if you don’t enter it?
What Happens If You Don’t Reach The Drop Pod?
When you go on a mission, you will be gathering minerals and defeating many of the enemies. As you fight, you will eventually run into a boss monster that you’ll need to win against.
As you collect minerals and defeat smaller monsters, you will level up. Leveling up allows you to unlock special selective upgrades that increase your power depending on your playstyle.
Make sure that you gather all of the EXP you need before you reach the boss to increase your chances of winning.
After you have defeated the boss, the Drop Pod will spawn. You will then have 30 seconds to get to the Drop Pod and leave the area.
If you do not enter the Drop Pod on time, you will receive a message saying, ‘Mission Failed’, ‘The drop pod left without you!’. This means that you’ve already failed the mission and will need to do it again from the very beginning.
When the boss is low on health, it means that the drop pod is going to spawn the moment it is defeated. If it happens, you know that you have 30 seconds to run to it and evacuate the area. During this time, try your best to find the way out by mining the path and destroying any enemies in the way.
