Farming for the cool new item in a video game can be exciting, but it can also be monotonous and boring. Be it repeating a quest again and again or killing the same monster for 5 hours, it’s soul crushing. We still do it though because we want that brand new item! We want to show it off to our friends, or to the random people that walk by.
In No Man’s Sky the recent update added new stuff for you to find. In this guide we’ll show you how to farm for the Aeron Turbojet Exosuit Visual Enhancement! This cool new cosmetic that’s been added with the recent big patch!
No Man’s Sky: Echo Locator & Backpack – How To Find The Camp
So to get this new cosmetic in No Man’s Sky you first need to find yourself an Echo Locator. To do that you can look for planets with the Corrupted Sentinel Modifier. Once you’re there scan for a Trade Port, go there, spawn in a Minitour and scan for Secure Facilities.
You can then go to those facilities and fight the Sentinels there. After clearing the place, you can have a chance of getting an Echo Locator. You can also kite Sentinels to the facility and when a new wave spawns they’ll be Corrupted, and you can repeat that until you find one. It’s a random drop so it’s all up to RNG!
Once you find one you can then use it and it’ll give you a waypoint to a camp. Inside you’ll find a Harmonic Interface. Unlock it and if you get the “Lift Lockdown” choice you’ll get the cosmetic!
If you don’t get the Lift Lockdown then RNG wasn’t kind with you. Go look for another Echo Locator and try again!
If you don’t want to farm for Echo Locators, you can also get “Root out Corrupted Sentinels” missions in the Nexus. Doing so will get you a camp, if you don’t get the Lift Lockdown choice you can exit to main menu, load back up and start again!
Congratulations you now know how to farm for the Echo Locators and camps to try and get that cool new backpack cosmetic. It’s all up to RNG like most things in this game so you might get it on your first try or your 100th so keep farming!
