Immortal in a Vase

Immortal in a Vase is a hidden series of missions that don’t prompt nor tell you what you should do. You have to visit the vase on separate days to continue the story before you can finally unlock the achievement.

Warp to Exalting Sanctum. You need to find a red vase next to a small garden located below the bridge. It’s on the lower floor and is placed to the right of a gate. Just by getting closer to it, you won’t get any prompt or anything nor will the usual indicator for breakable objects appear.

Nevertheless, just slam that vase.

The vase will start talking to you and for that extra comedic timing, you can choose to whack it again for a few more times. The conversation will then tell you that it’s not really a talking vase – there’s an immortal who’s spent millennias inside the vase. They were finally disturbed by you and pondered about how it feels a little bored and empty inside the vase.

Immortal in a Vase Day #1

So they want you to fetch five trashbags to help decorate the vase because it lacks the “hustle and bustle of mortal life.” You may have found them when you go through trash cans, so talk to the vase again and choose “Put the items inside.”

The vase will in return offer to give you a gift. To do this, you’ll have to put your hand inside, but weirdly enough you can’t seem to find whatever or whoever it was that’s been talking to you. But you do get your reward for your first day in the form of 5 Protein Rice, 10 Strale, and 2 Adventure Logs.

Immortal in a Vase Day #2

On the second real-life day, come back to this vase. You’ll see the option that allows you to communicate with the Immortal in a Vase again. Talk to the person who’ll then start speaking in riddles about how vain your life is and essentially just how mere human you are because you can’t fit into the vase.

At some point, he’ll have a request from you to give him something that prevents you from “shrugging off your mortal shell.” He claims that it’ll be useful for him, for whatever reason we’ll never know. But let him take it. Pick (Stand still.) option.

You’ll be required to give a Praise of High Morals to the vase person. Give it to him and you’ll get the achievement “Karmic Wheel” for it.

That’s not the end. Talk to the vase again. Things do get a little weird, not going to lie. He’s going to tell you that he’s got a gift to thank you after the trash and Moral that you gave him. So you have to reach your hand in, right?

The first gift feels way too suspiciously creepy because something cold blew on your hand after it was crawling around to hold you. But you have to reach in again. The second gift, fortunately, doesn’t move. You get the synthesis material 5 Eye of Lightning. You will get another achievement, ‘Far From the Madding Crowd.’
