Honkai Star Rail: What Happens If You Ignore/Ghost All Messages?

The messages in Honkai: Star Rail are integral part in being able to explore more of the world, especially to get to know the characters. And they’ve quickly become one of players’ most favorite features because of the funny things characters tend to text the MC with. It’s highly unlikely that you’ve ignored all the messages you got.

But what if you did? You can actually ignore all the messages in game, but at what cost?

What If You Ignore All Messages?

Now if you haven’t realized, characters will often send you text messages every day. These messages give you 5 Stellar Jades just by reading and replying to them. Many of them are also meant to trigger side quests and companion quests, like the Unexpected Turn of Events and Sensitive Beings.

So you probably wouldn’t want to try this, at least on your main account.

Missing out on text messages, apparently, hasn’t posed a problem from letting you advance in your main Trailblazer mission. You can still proceed with your daily commissions normally as well.

But the catch is you’ll miss your side missions and companion missions, a majority of which relies on getting and replying to the text messages. There are also achievements linked to reading the text messages and extra side content you’ll miss by ignoring these text messages.

But seeing as we’re still closing onto 1.1, we’ve yet to know if the messages will ever be integral to advancing in the main Trailblazer missions. Though that isn’t the trend for now.
