Potions are highly important items in many video games, and Nightingale is no different. Unlike other games, however, Nightingale requires more than simply making a potion. You also need to get your hands on an Alchemical Boiler, which is where your potion-making will take place. So, here’s where to get an Alchemical Boiler which will let you make potions.
Alchemical Boiler Location
In this guide, we’ll cover two things: how to get a Simple Alchemical Boiler, and how to get a Refined Alchemical Boiler. If you’re still in the early game, the first will be your only option. If you’ve progressed quite a bit, and want to be able to make stronger potions, the Refined Alchemical Boiler is the one for you!
Simple Alchemical Boiler
While you’re still at the beginning of the game, you’ll want to get your hands on potions as soon as you can. The schematic for the Simple Alchemical Boiler can be bought from most Essence Traders starting in Antiquarian Realms. If you haven’t yet unlocked these, check out our Guide to Getting Antiquarian Card.
The Simple Alchemical Boiler recipe will cost 10 T1 Essence and, to build it, you’ll need:
Once you’ve gotten your Simple Alchemical Boiler built, you’ll be able to craft the following recipes:
- Slight Curative Potion
- Slight Healing Potion
- Slight Restful Potion
- Water Bottle
Refined Alchemical Boiler
After you’ve progressed through a few different Realms, you’ll encounter more dangers and difficulties. This means you’ll start needing stronger potions, and to make these, you’ll need a Refined Alchemical Boiler.
The schematic for this is much more difficult to find, as there are only so many Essence Traders who sell it. The following is where you’ll be able to buy the Refined Alchemical Boiler schematic:
- Swamp Provisioner Essence Trader
- Desert Herbarium Essence Trader
- Swamp Herbarium Essence Trader
- Desert Gloom Essence Trader
- Forest Hunt Essence Trader
Each of these will sell you the schematic for 15 T1 Essence Dust. To build it, you’ll need:
- 4 Lumber
- 3 Etched Ingot
- 2 Water Bottle
Once you’ve got the Refined Alchemical Boiler built, you’ll be able to craft the following recipes:
- Moderate Curative Potion
- Moderate Healing Potion
- Moderate Restful Potion
