Kalash Electromagnetic Polarizer Location – Atomic Heart

Upgrading your weapon is a must in a lot of video games. It’s a way for us to get our dopamine when we see those big numbers go higher, especially if they’re damaged numbers.

Some upgrades also help you kill enemies faster and more efficiently and we always want that. In Atomic Heart, there are a lot of weapon upgrades for a lot of different weapons and today we’re focusing on an upgrade on the people’s weapon the Kalash(nikov).

There are a lot of upgrades for that weapon but what we want is the Electromagnetic Polarizer upgrade and in this guide, we’ll show you where to find that!

Atomic Heart: Kalash Electromagnetic Polarizer Location

There are a lot of confusing places in Atomic Heart, and it’s sometimes tough to go through them. Still, we want to go through them because they usually have loot and weapon upgrades in them.

This is where you can find the Kalash Electromagnetic Polarizer upgrade.

First, you need to go to the Testing Ground 9 area just south of the Kolektiv Complex.

South of the yellow circle is a save point room.

Near the red building with the save station in it is a hole in the ground that leads to the sewer.

Go down the sewers and then go straight, left and left again, up and through some crates, and straight to the boiler room.

There you’ll find a locked door, unlock it through the mini-game and find the crate of orange energy balls.

You’ve seen this bit in the tutorial levels but instead of placing the frost balls into the boilers, you’ll want to put the orange balls into all 4 boilers to make them overheat.

Now that the boiler room is a bit warmer, go to the exit and turn right and you’ll see a locked door.

Unlock it and turn right and you’ll see a poly gel route that you can jump into, this will lead to a pipe that leads you to the lake.

There’s a pier nearby that can lead you back to the village, now go to the house that has the node that lets you access the cameras in the area.

The cameras should be active now since you’ve set the boiler room to boil.

Now take control of the camera right in front of you shown in the image below.

Turn left and interact with the button on the statue, this will open a door that you can go through.

The door leads to an elevator and you can press the elevator button to go down.

You’ll then get to a room that has a locked door and a node that you can use Shok on. The problem is it’ll open the door only for a few seconds and close it again.

If you don’t have the Poly Jet power there’s foam at the bottom of the node that you can use Shok on.

If you do have it, you’ll need to put foam on the bottom then use Shok to power the door.

Go through the door and you’ll enter the room shown below with a lot of Polymer gel on one side.

Get the power ball near the liquid area and use it to power the door.

Go straight then left to get a chest that has the KS-23 Collimator upgrade in it.

Then go outside the loot room and down the stairs and then right to a room with a button, activate it to open the door to the room suspended in Poly Gel.

You can then backtrack and jump down the poly gel to get into that room and get the power ball.

Now, remember that door you opened with the first power ball?

Use the second power ball to power the other side so you can keep it open as you take the first ball inside and onto the power node shown below.

You can then use the other power ball that’s already inside the room to power the second node.

Go through the doors then turn right to see a button that will open the door shown below.

Now you need to backtrack again and remember to bring both power balls to open the nodes to the newly unlocked place.

The door will open to unlock the room where you can fight a miniboss, a Plyusch. Defeat the miniboss and at the end of the room is another door with a lock, unlock it and go straight and right to get the Dominator – Shot upgrade.

Go outside the loot room, turn right then left then right on the first door. Follow the path until you reach the puzzle area, go to the left and look up and use Shok on the magnets to lower the platform in front of you.

Then use Shok again to raise the platform you’re on so you can reach the power ball on the platform.

You can then jump over the fence to the left and use the power ball to power up and extend the platform.

Then you can jump up the platform and launch it to the other power node to extend another one.

Use the two power balls in the area to alternate the power nodes and platforms to get on top of the area and through the door.

Once through the door turn right then left then right again to get to another loot room.

This time this chest has the Kalash Electromagnetic Polarizer upgrade!
