The new game Atomic Heart is out now and with it comes a bunch of robots and plant monsters to destroy.
Still, you’ll need some weapons to help destroy these things and as much as I like hitting things hard with a stick, sometimes you need to hit something hard a few steps away.
The first gun you’ll get in the game is the KS-23 and for people out there who play Tarkov, you already know this gun is amazing. Sadly it doesn’t one-shot enemies at the start since they’re robots, not PMCs with very expensive gear that gets shredded in seconds.
It does have a lot of upgrades though and in this guide, we’ll show you where to find one.
Atomic Heart: KS-23 Shotgun Collimator Location
Now I’m a big fan of iron sights, especially on Shotguns, but sometimes you just need to have a better sight picture. Especially when there are targets under the gun and you can’t really see it since, well, there’s a gun in the way.
The KS-23 Collimator upgrade adds a sight for your Shotgun to solve the issue and this is where you can get it.
The KS-23 Shotgun Collimator can be found in the Testing Ground 9 area south of the Kolektiv Complex.
There are actually a lot of different upgrades you can find in this complex like the Dominator – Shot upgrade or the Kalash Electromagnetic Polarizer, where along the way, you’ll get the KS-23 Shotgun Collimator to upgrade.
Once you get this upgrade you can then have a better sight of your KS-23 Shotgun.
Collimator sights might look like future tech for the 1950s USSR but it’s actually been used as early as World War 1. They’ve mostly been used as gun sights for fighter planes, so that’s your trivia for the day!
Congratulations you now know to get this upgrade in Atomic Heart, now go out there and try to do it yourself!
Many thanks to WoW Quests for showing everyone how to do this, if you need more information on the subject then go check their YouTube video.
