Argos can be the most difficult Npc to beat. You need to get ready, gear up, pack up loads of healing items, and just hope for the best.

A tons of dmg both in individual and AoE attacks. You will need to play this out smart. For this reason I have prepared a complete guide on how to beat him in the 2 phases.

Argos Phase 1 & 2 Complete Guide – Lost Ark

Phase 1

At the beginning of the battle, your team members will be assigned into Moon or Sun groups. If you are Moon, there will be a purple circle under you. For Sun, a yellow one. All the major AoE attacks matter on these groups.

This is a purple attack. Meaning purple groups can stay inside the circle and keep attacking.

Stay careful when this attack happens.

With this double ring circle, he will attack both of the groups. Just look for your colour wether to stay inside or go outside the circles. He is changing the colours with each attack.

Once in a while these balls will spawn. The correct colour groupation must collect it in order for it to not explode.

When a big yellow attacks, and you get a meter above your head, make sure you get out from the ring area, because it might insta kill you.

You can just keep track of how the boss colour looks like, to expect his next attack.

Whenever coloured circles appear while he shouts, get inside them. This is your safe zone. You can also stop attacking him in periods for him to not attack you, your colour might change too.

There will be a memory trick, where there are different colours to save you. Just memorize these 2, the yellow on left, and the purple on right. They always appear like this.

Phase 2

For the Sun party 1, bring:

  • Destruction bombs

For the Moon party 2, bring:

  • Stagger / High burst damage
  • Darkbomb

At the beginning the 2 parties will be split. Sun party will fight a miniboss, while the Moon one will stay with Argos. His attacks are explained in the Phase 1. There are couple of new ones, but you just simply to have to jump over his wave attacks.

For the Sun party, the mini boss will be pretty simple. Whatever attack he tries, he slows down before it, making it easy to counter or dodge. You can use bombs to stagger him too.

The new big thing for Argos in Phase2 is the laser attack.

In order to be able to evade and counter these laser attacks, one member of the Sun party must move to the top right corner of their map. From there, they can observe 1 of 6 patterns to fight Argos.

  • 1  ,  2  ,  3  –  Moon party must head to safe zone at the end of the timer
  • 4   – Sun party must stand in center at the end of the timer
  • 5   – Moon party collects all orbs
  • 6   – stand in circles to get buffs and debuffs to pass on to Argos

After this, the Moon party is now transferred to fight a miniboss.

Moon party must burst him fast. Or instead the Sun party must destroy the totems in their room. Moon party should be able to kill him easily, he doesnā€™t have any big attack mechanics.

Just one more mini mini boss will appear for the Moon room. Easy to kill.

Once you kill him, both the parties will be teleported to Argos again. He will be on very low hp, making this final encounter with him short. Should be pretty straight forward now, and you too have finally slain the mighty Argos! Good luck.
