Foraging in Lost Ark is important for making potions and bombs. In this guide, we will show you the perfect setup for foraging in Platinum Field as well as the route you should take for efficient foraging run. Let’s dive in!
Foraging Platinum Field Guide – Lost Ark
Preparation
First off, you need to do some changes before heading into the Platinum Field. There are two important aspects for efficient foraging, first, you need to be Level 30 Foraging to get Golden Finger life skill. This skill gives you buffs for 35 seconds that allow you to forage faster as well as an additional item pick-up chance.
The second thing is you need your Foraging Tool to have super armor. You don’t want to be disturbed by mobs during your foraging.
Another thing to consider is to have the highest character Swiftness to do the run for faster foraging. The Romanticist Card set is also decent for foraging run.
Platinum Field route and guide
Enter the Platinum field solo for effective loot count. Once inside, the first thing you need to do is open up your map and search for the Core Mats that you have to return four times. They will blink on the map once you search for them.
Head to their locations quickly to gather and return the first 3 Core Mats. The fourth Core Mats will reset the entire field and you want to return this after you forage everything in the field. In short, gather and return the first 3 and forage everything on the map then return the fourth one to open the cave.
As for the route, once you gather and return 3 of the Core Mats, from your starting point take the most west area and head to the middle then finally forage all the grasses to the east side. By the end of this run, you will have 6 minutes left and this is where you return the last Core Mats. You might want to look for the closest one to the return area for this last Core Mats.
Once you returned the last one, the cave will open and the field will reset. The route is similar to the previous one, the only difference is once you get to the middle section, you enter the cave to forage for what’s inside. Do a clockwise run to forage all the grasses inside the cave. Head outside and resume the run to the east area.
