One of Lost Ark’s main draw is the combat style that allows you to build on combinations that will result in high damage based on how well you can pull them off. While this is not as important during PVE, the main test to your cunning combos will come in the form of duking it out in another player.
You can do this for fun, just to test your skills against a fellow player or you can choose to play ranked and be the best player there is. Read on to find out how to start your journey!
How to Play Ranked | PvP Guide
As soon as you hit Level 20 and have unlocked the PVP mode of the game, you’ll be qualified to enter the current Season of the ranked matches for Lost Ark’s competitive PVP section.
Each Season starts at a certain point in time and lasts for about six months or more depending on the server announcement. The current season started on March 24th.
Players will then have to play Proving Grounds and achieve at least tier 1 to qualify for ranking. Results are then viewed using the Competitive Match Average Score. You can earn scores if you win or lose. Naturally, winning gives you points and losing will make them drop.
There are seven tiers that you’ll have to go through to get to the top from Bronze to Grandmaster. You can earn the Grandmaster spot by being in the top 30 of your region.
