The Bell Tolls Mission Guide – Marvel’s Midnight Suns

Go to the Mirror Table and start The Bell Tolls mission

As you progress through the game, you will eventually unlock The Bell Tolls mission. Here, your goal is to help Spider-Man get a live symbiote sample from Fallen Venom, a Venom that is being controlled by the evil forces. You, the Hunter, and Spider-Man, along with a third team mate of your choice, will go and retrieve it.

Repair the Church Bell while Fallen Venom is Down

When the mission starts, you will be shown a cutscene that ends with your team and Venom ending up in the bell tower. Your goal is to defeat Venom and get a symbiote sample, but in Venom’s newly powered up form, it will be much harder to do so. Luckily, you all end up in the bell tower, which you can use to weaken Venom.

However, the large bell is destroyed, which means you need to repair the large bell in order to weaken Venom. While fighting, you can weaken Venom enough by using the Ring Small Bell card, which is only available if you apply 3 stacks of Weak and 3 stacks of Vulnerable to Venom.

If you down Venom, the Repair Church Bell card will be available to use, but it costs 10 Heroism to use. If you do not have enough Heroism to use the Repair Church Bell, then Venom will eventually get back up. However, the cost of the card will decrease, making it easier to use Repair Church Bell the next time Venom gets downed.

Bear in mind that the fight will be hard, as reinforcements will come in to assist Venom as you fight. Dealing with Venom’s lackeys will just result in more and more reinforcements to come in, so your best shot is to just avoid using cards that use up Heroism, and focus on staying alive until your Heroism reaches the required amount for the Repair Church Bell card.

If you can down Venom a couple of times, you can have the Repair Church Bell card only use 4 Heroism. It is much easier to do this, as instead of waiting for a full Heroism bar. Once you have selected the card, the mission ends and you get a small cutscene of the Hunter and Spider-Man teaming up to kick Venom’s butt.
