Monster Hunter Rise features a plethora of monsters you can hunt and kill in order to harvest their meat and use it as armor. Saving the world comes second, since you need to look cool if you’re going to do it. However in Sunbreak, there are even more monsters for you to hunt. Thelist of monsters keeps going and going. Here’s a guide on how to unlock all monsters to hunt at your leisure in Sunbreak.

How To Unlock Every Monster Up to MR 100 – Monster Hunter Sunbreak

Before we start showing the monsters you unlock, you first need to understand how Master Rank, or MR, works. Master Rank is essentially what allows you to participate in missions in Monster Hunter Rise and in Sunbreak. The higher your Master Rank, the more missions are allowed for you to participate.

In order to level up your Master Rank, you need to finish a number of Key Quests. These unlock an Urgent Quest that basically gives you a mission and monster to hunt. Once you finish hunting said monster, your Master Rank increases, and the cycle continues.

Now with the mechanics on how to level up Master Rank out of the way, the first new monster you unlock as you level up is Wild Serpent Ibushi at Master Rank 20. Fighting Ibushi can be a bit difficult, as the monster is levitating up in the air and can be hard to reach. Make sure to take advantage of the siege weapons surrounding the field such as the Ballista and Splitting Wyvernshot.

The next monster unlocks after reaching Master Rank 30, in which you fight Narwa the Allmother. Narwa is a flying monster as well, so you’ll have to jump up and reach the monster to fight it. However, like with Ibushi, there are siege weapons surrounding the area, so use those.

As the fight reaches the second half, Narwa becomes more and more aggressive with her attacks and starts using her tail. You’ll need to dodge all of her attacks at this point, becomes she can easily kill you in one or two shots.

Level up some more until you reach Master Rank 50, in which you unlock Furious Rajang. This Rajang is a much more aggressive and angrier version, hence the name Furious Rajang. Unlike the original, Furious Rajang has no tail, which makes this fight much more difficult as the tail is the weakness for Rajang. Without it, the fight will last longer due to no other weaknesses.

After leveling up to Master Rank 70, you then have the mission to fight Crimson Glow Valstrax. This monster is a combination of a dragon and a fighter jet. Its wings spew out red energy blasts and every time it uses its wings as melee weapons, it makes a noise that sounds like the engine of a fighter jet from Top Gun. Though not as difficult to fight compared to previous bosses, you will be dodging a lot.

The last monster you unlock is Scorned Magnamalo at Master Rank 100. This Magnamalo is much more difficult to fight because it is constantly in Hellfire mode. Unlike the base Magnamalo, this one will not shift back to its base, which leaves this monster a rampaging beast that will body slam you whenever it gets the chance to.
