Master Rank Layered Armor Guide – Monster Hunter Sunbreak Rise
Layered armor in essence is a cosmetic item that allows you to layer your actual armor with some other set as an appearance. This type of armor will not change your defensive status nor it will give you any set of bonuses.
To unlock this, you first need to clear the main story and reach Master Rank 4.
Required key material to craft a Master Rank Layered Armor is Locked Treasure Chest. It is found in Buddy Piazza and under The Argosy menu which is unlocked after reaching Master Rank 4 and completed the Backroom Deals quest. Another material required is Outfit Voucher which you can get from quests.
Once you have the Locked Treasure Chest and Outfit Voucher, go to Smithy and open the Forged Layered Armor menu to see what is in store for you.
