One of the quests you will get early on in the game will involve having to reach Gear Score level 20 and finding the Antiquarian Site of Power.

If you are interested in learning more about this vital aspect of the game, we have a dedicated guide on sites of power in Nightingale that will teach you more!

As you make your way through the Antiquarian site of power, you’ll be faced with multiple waves of the Bound. Just whack them in the head with whatever weapon you have, and they should go down easily.

Eventually, at the end of the site of power, you will have to face the Fabled Automaton Knight boss. Despite its imposing figure and intimidating dash attacks, it is actually very easy to beat.

If you have a knife with you, you can simply dodge its attacks by right clicking whenever its core in the middle starts glowing red. In addition to that, you can also use the pillars all around the room for cover.

Just attack whenever it is standing still, as it will literally never retaliate. If you have a companion with you, they may even take the aggro away and save you some stamina.

And that is pretty much it for this incredibly simple boss fight. After that, you can release the Hope Echo in the center to receive the Antiquarian card. While you’re here, check out our guide on how to craft uncommon upgrades, as you will be doing that a lot in the next realm!
