The Halloween Update has finally arrived in Peroxide! It has a lot of new and exclusive event for you to experience and explore. Best Halloween Update Beginners Guide (2023)

To sum things up, this year’s event is based on the Harvester NPC and Wungus, which lets you acquire high-value & event-exclusive content! There is more interesting stuff to talk about as well. I’ll discuss about all of them in-detail and give you some tips along the way!

Harvester NPC & Wungus

First, I’ll be introducing you to the brand-new Harvester NPC. This mysterious character offers a variety of rewards, including Yen payouts, Clan element rolls, skill skins, and even the chance to summon a secret Boss from the depths of hell. I’ll talk about them in-detail further in the guide.

It’s an exciting addition, and you can access these rewards by trading a special currency called Wungus with the Harvester.

To locate the Harvester NPC, simply exit the Ancient Temple area and you’ll find them in a stall nearby to your left. It’s pretty hard to miss as you’ll see a big Cauldron as well as pumpkins and torches.

Interacting with the Harvester allows you to trade Wungus for various rewards. Remember, the more Wungus you trade, the better the rewards you can unlock.

Here are all the options that you can unlock with your Wungus. I recommend prioritizing the event exclusive items, as they’ll only be available to obtain during the time of the event.

• Essence of Halloween (Event exclusive) – 120 Wungus
  • It’s gives you a skin for one of your skills.
• Bring forth Hell (Event exclusive) – 666 Wungus
  • Spawns a Boss fight.
• The Methamorphoses (Event exclusive) – 7777 Wungus
  • This curse gives the player 60% better Reiatsu Regen, 20 Reiatsu and 50 Agility. However, it takes away 4 Vitality. Basically, it’s like the Bungus Curse from last year.
• 30 Wungus – Clan Reroll
• 10 Wungus – 150 Yen

How & Where to Get Wungus

Now, Wungus may sound strange, but these are basically mushroom-like items that can be found scattered all over the map. Watch out for them in places like grassy areas, buildings, and notable landmarks.

One of the best spots for collecting them is close to the Graves, where they are abundant. Moreover, certain players have shared their experiences, noting that the Wungus often spawn on the Hospital Roof as well.

Here are codes that you can use to get Wungus, free-from-the-grind as well:

But there’s another way to obtain Wungus – you can pick up knocked-down or unconscious players and toss them into the Cauldron. This method provides you with around 12 Wungus per drop, but there’s a cooldown period, so you can’t do this too frequently.

Pumpkin Heads & How to Get Them

Also, it’s worth mentioning that the Hollows in the game now drop Pumpkin Heads. These pumpkins are rare drops from these enemies, and they’re only available during the Halloween event.

The cosmetic aspect of these Pumpkin Heads is pretty cool, and they might become valuable as the event progresses. After all, they are legendary drops. While the 7 Spirit and 7 Strength stats bonuses may not be game-changing, the visual appeal is something to consider for sure.
