Starting Clan
The Soul Reaper starts with a random clan that’ll give you anything from small bonus points to a clan-exclusive skill. There’s an 89% chance for you to roll a common clan who will either give you 5 bonus points in any stat or a 10% multiplier in Health regen, Reiatsu regen, Agility, or EXP.

And then the Abarai clan gives you 15% Strength multiplier, and the Shihouin clan comes with a 20% multiplier for both Agility Strength.

How to Get Shikai
Soul Reapers can meditate to raise their levels by training at the Dojo. Once you reach the appropriate level, you have to meditate to get the next form.
By meditating, you enter the world of your Zanpakutou. The first time you need to enter your Inner World is when you reach level 15 and have finished the Orb Minigame. You will gain your Shikai after you win your battle against your Inner Spirit. If you fail, you don’t have to redo the minigame and retry the battle again.
You can use your Shikai by pressing G. And there are two common types, three rare types, and two legendary types:
- The common types (80%), Explosion and Wind, requires a balance between Spirit and Strength stats.
- The rare types (18%), Gravity and Fire, are also similarly scaling on Spirit and Strength. The Clone type is special as it copies the opponent’s skill and the duration scales on Spirit
- The legendary type (2%), Lightning and Glacier, are different. Lightning scales on both Strength and Spirit with teleporting M1 attack while Glacier has Spirit-only movesets
After this continue to level until the next phase to get your Bankai. These are the requirements:
- Level 85
- 600 points; finishing Time Gate is worth 75 points, each percent of Time Bubbles Boss HP reduced is worth a point, and dealing the most damage on a Storm Vastocar is worth 10 points
How to Get Bankai
One of the ultimate power of a Soul Reaper is their Bankai. What does Bankai do? It gives 20% Strength boost, 30% Spirit boost, and 25% Vitality boost. To get your Bankai, here are your requirements:
- Level 85
- 600 points; finishing Time Gate is worth 75 points, each percent of Time Bubbles Boss HP reduced is worth a point, and dealing the most damage on a Storm Vastocar is worth 10 points
After gaining Bankai, meditate again by pressing N to enter your Inner World. This time, you must fight your Inner Spirit which is basically another you. Obviously, you can keep doing this until you win the battle to get your Bankai.
Then start using your Bankai by pressing G! You can only use it when the bar is filled completely. At first, you may only be able to use it for 33 seconds. By keep using it or sparring in your Inner World, you can increase mastery over it and the duration up to 190 seconds.
Endgame form (Vizard)
The Vizard is an ultimate form a Soul Reaper can attain by tuning with the inner Hollow. A Vizard can use Hollow skills, except for Cero Oscuras, Hierro, and Garganta. A Vizard also take 8% more damage and become 15% weaker when you don’t turn on the mode.
Vizard can be used at any level of the bar. Below 50% of the bar, you get extra 3% buff and above 50% of the bar, you get 6.5% extra buff. The higher the master, the better the boost. It is 6% boost at Mastery 1, 9% boost at Master 2, and 12% boost at Master 3.
You can become a Vizard by maxing out your level as a Soul Reaper and get the Impure Hogyoku. Below are the drop rates and where you can get it from:
- Incursions: 0.1%
- Invasion Easy Difficulty: 0.1%
- Invasion Normal Difficulty: 0.1%
- Invasion Hard Difficulty: 0.2%
- Time Gate Win: 0.4%
