Predecessor is the return of a popular MOBA game called Paragon after four years it was shut down. If you don’t know, Paragon was one of the first MOBA games that features triple AAA graphics, as well as third person gameplay perspective. It was released in 2016 of August, then shut down almost two years later in 2018 of April. But now, Paragon returns in the form of Predecessor. It is not a sequel, but essentially a second attempt at the game, with returning characters such as Rikto, who is the focus of this guide.

RIKTOR Guide – Predecessor

Riktor is a support class hero. Meaning that despite his size, Riktor is there to help the DPS heroes and other classes perform better, or be a helping hand. Riktor, like other support heroes, are very tanky and can take a lot of damage, making him a perfect shield to guard against enemy attacks to protect other heroes.

In order to learn more on how to play Riktor, you need to learn his moveset and skills. Here is what you need to know:

  • Riot Shield – Riktor passively shields himself for 12% of his maximum health. The shield lasts until destroyed and refreshes if Riktor has not taken damage in the last 8 seconds.
  • Whip – Melee basic attack dealing physical damage.
  • Riplash – Launch Riktor’s chain forward, attaching to the first enemy hit, dealing 50 / 80 / 110 / 140 / 170 (+100%) (+8% of the Target’s maximum health) magical damage and pulling them towards him.
  • Shock Therapy – Swing an electrified whip, dealing 60 / 100 / 140 / 180 / 220 (+40%) magical damage to all enemies hit and Silencing them for 1.25 seconds.
  • Electrocute – Emit and electrical aura, granting Riktor 10% movement speed and dealing 110 / 155 / 190 / 235 / 280 (+8% Health) (+60%) magical damage to all nearby enemies over 5 seconds.
  • Skewer – Unleash a torrent of chains from Riktor, dealing 125 / 175 / 225 (+50%) magical damage to all enemies in front of him and Stunning them for 1.5 seconds. After the Stun expires, Riktor rips the chains out, repeating the damage. Skewering an enemy hero grants Riot Shield.

He's also a huge fan of superhero media like Marvel and DC, so he's practically played games like Spider-Man and the Batman Arkham games. He's also into multiplayer games that strike his fancy, specifically games like Call of Duty and Fortnite. Most especially Fortnite since he can play as different Marvel and DC characters in a battle royale against other famous and iconic characters.
