Weapons are important in Starfield since you will be involved in countless combat situations. This guide will focus on how to get the secret rifle that is named Gallow’s Reach.
How To Get Gallow’s Reach
Find Scout Ship
The Gallow’s Reach rifle can be found on the Scout Ship. You will visit this ship as part of the main story, so do not worry if you haven’t found it yet. Just keep playing through the main storyline, and you will be bound to encounter it.
In case you have already visited the ship and want to go aboard it again, you can do so as well. The ship can be found in the Procyon A system in the Debris Field region.
Aboard the ship, you will be interacting with Captain Petrov, who commands it. He is a collector of Old World weapons and relics, which explains why he has this rifle. To find the rifle, go down the hallway that is behind the captain, as shown in the image above.
Locate The Weapon
Take the first left that you find in the hallway, and inside this room, you should see a door on the left. Interact with this door to open it, and in the following room, you should see a similar door. This is the door to the Captain’s Office that contains the weapon.
Interact with the door to open it, and inside the office, you should see the Rifle proudly displayed on the wall. It is important to note that taking this rifle will count as stealing, so the NPCs aboard the ship may turn hostile.
Weapon Overview
The Gallow’s Rifle is a very powerful weapon that deals Poison damage to enemies and slows them down.
Additionally, it comes with five attachments, which include the Laser Sight, Reflex Sight, Muzzle Brake, Ergonomic Brake, and Armor-Piercing Rounds. With these attachments, this weapon becomes a powerhouse that can deal tons of damage.
The Scout Ship contains a lot of contraband and valuable items other than this weapon. Hence, it is worthwhile to take your time and go through the ship to grab other valuable items.
