A very big world map that is filled with tons of natural beauties as well as very diverse NPCs. That is what everyone wants, but when it comes to collecting rare ingredients it can be a pain. Big Friendly Friend is one of those quests in Xenoblade Chronicles 3. Let’s see how you can finish it.

Big Friendly Friend | Repapa Items Stage 2 – Xenoblade Chronicles 3

For each player asking themselves if the game has some sort of quick item registry where you can actually look up where to find certain items or some items that might be in a larger area. The answer is no. It doesn’t exist in the game and we can’t fathom ourselves why the devs didn’t add this too. Well luckily for you we are always here to help!

For this quest, the main objective is getting a bunch of ingredients that are scattered around the world map. This is where you can find them and how to loot the most of them:

Splendor Shells

You can find them in the Aetia Region as shown in the picture below

They are very rare and hard to find. You will most likely find them next to the water areas around the big stones that are placed and just standing next to the shorelines. You will see some blue shells looking types of items and just go on ahead and pick up all of them. Run around and grab until you have enough or 21 in total. These will give you quite a big percentage when you hand them in.

The key is to run around picking up as many as you can. Then simply teleport yourself out of the entire area and teleport back in here. This will get all the items to respawn and you can actually loot them again. This way you will sort of have a farm that will get a big % of what you’ll need. Once you have enough go for the next ingredient.

Stinger Pile

This one is right outside where you will get the quest. This is in the Fornis Region right next to the Colony 30 and is shown in the picture below:

You can find them usually around the bottom of the trees. Also looks the same as the pickable items that you’ll see in this area. They are way more common than the Shells but also you’ll need a lot more of these to get to the same percentage rate. Also the teleport out and back works here too.

That should be it! Keep looting and farming only these items here and you will finish the Repapa quest only by collecting these ones, you won’t need to worry about the rest. Have fun and good luck looting them!
